I went here with my cousin for the first time on June 11th 2025 and this bagel shop has exceeded our expectations. The owner is very friendly and asked us questions to get to know us better. The cook is a very funny and chill dude. He recommended the grilled chicken on a bagel for my cousin. I ordered a cheese burger and the cook recommended if I wanted to be spontaneous and try it on a bagel. I did and it was definitely sooo much better. I will be coming back here more often!

Much better service usually. I asked for lightly toasted and extra cream cheese and they gave it well done with no cheese. Usually their service and food is excellent but not sure how they messed up on a basic bagel today

Visiting my son in New Jersey and Totowa Bagel was a must after this visit! Vinny suggested the Oreo bagel, and I tried it with the walnut raisin cream cheese—such an amazing combo and not too sweet at all. The bagels were incredibly fresh and delicious. Vinny was awesome and super helpful, and the service was great. I also tried a bite of my son’s breakfast bagel and wow… so good. This will 100% be my go-to bagel spot every time I’m back visiting from Houston!

The service provided by the attendant met only the bare minimum expectations. A request for a receipt after a cash payment was not fulfilled, as the attendant stated that printing was not possible (big question here). The point-of-sale system in use incurs additional charges for card transactions, which has created doubts for cash payments. Upon receiving the bagel with egg, protein, and cheese, I noted several issues: the bagel was chewy and lacked freshness; the protein appeared undercooked; the egg was cold and dried out; and the cheese was over-melted. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and the ambience did not stand out from other establishments. I don’t recommend it at all.

I’ve only been here once. I have to try more items on the menu before I give them a more definitive rating. However, my experience was excellent so far. The guy behind the counter was a pleasure to do business with. There is a need for this kind of customer service. His service makes me want to return. The food that I had was limited, but not bad. I will order again see whether stars go up or down, but service is exceptional!!
