Anyways, this is a dive bar. An ACTUAL dive bar. The building is old, the bathrooms are gross, the beer is cold and not on tap and the bartender is probably as drunk as you.
The locals are all bellied up to the bar, and they will all turn around and stare at every new person that walks in. If they know you, they will yell hello, if not, they will just stare. Don’t let them scare you.
During the summer they have monthly “Steak Frys”, which is basically the owner grilling steaks and hamburgers, that come with various sides. It is pretty good, and worth the money. It is not fancy, so don’t expect it to be. It is the finest in paper plateware.
This is a bar that time has forgotten, both in its people and decor. The beer is cold and cheap. Jay (the owner) has a pretty good selection of beer, especially considering that most of the patrons stick to Bud Light or Coors Light. Someone might get really wild and order a Miller Light! WOW!
There is a pool table, dart boards and foosball table. Or at least there was, 3 years ago when I was there last.
Watch out for certain bits of the floor, as it is starting to cave in. And by any means, don’t bring up politics or religion, unless you want to fight.
