Started construction in October 2019 on the old BBC on Bay to remodel, add in a full kitchen, and with a little help and a lot of luck we created ‘Lost Local’.

Overall a very mid experience. Tacos are tasty but nearly $6 for one taco is crazy. The taco salad was very flavorful but would be more appropriately served in a bowl as it was falling off the plate because it was stacked so high. Chips are not complimentary which was disappointing. It was so loud you couldn’t hear the other individuals from your own table and our drinks were only refilled once when he had already finished eating. Would’ve liked to had better service.

Went here for a small company get together after work. We had a wonderful time and the food and drink at Lost Local have been on our minds since.
We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, and Pan Seared Mussles appetizers. The shrimp were great but the mussels stole the show!! They were cooked to perfection and seasoned in a broth that we were tempted to just drink from the bowl.
The Tacos were out of this world – I tried the Hawaiian and the Gullah.
The drinks were delicious. The vanilla and Pineapple infused tequila was wonderful.
I can’t recommend Lost Local enough – I can’t wait to go back.

My husband and a few friends came here for dinner while staying on the beach. The tacos were so good. They were so packed with food they were busting. The waitress was really nice but didn’t check on us very often, which made it a little difficult when we did need something. The noise level was a tad much. We had to talk loudly to hear each other from across the table. Overall, definitely recommend for the food!

Great menu. Loved the three tacos I had for my meal- come hungry! Deep South Gullah was my favorite. I won’t need dinner. 🙂 Eric was so knowledgeable about ingredients if you have any allergies, he understands and is informed for Celiac concerns.

Came here after seeing great reviews! Service was **really** bad. Had to ask for menus twice. Beer never came. Finally I went to the bar & got it myself. Server moved slow. Wow…
Seasoning on blackened shrimp tacos was fantastic. Excellent delicate slivers of jalapeño. Great sauces. Fish tacos meh. The avocado aioli was basically mayonnaise. The shred on the cabbage was chunky.
Art on the walls is great, I will say that.

Spot on perfect. Our waiter was super. The tacos were fantastic. And my delicious margarita (I am very picky about my three ingredient fresh margarita ratios) was the first margarita ordered anywhere (ever) that I didn’t have to doctor further — and the waiter made it himself. We had a really fun time. There is no good reason for me to dine anywhere else while in Beaufort.

Some unusual and delicious taco and marguerita choices along with seafood and cocktail options. Very casual atmosphere and some might find it a little noisy but we enjoyed it. Service was great!

Ordered nacho appetizer, shrimp tacos, Mac chicken tacos, fish tacos, fried green tomato taco, carnitas taco, Hawaiian chicken tacos, lavender martini and Burial Drowning in Habits. All were delicious and service was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Favorites were shrimp tacos and fried green tomato tacos. Lavender martini was also amazing.
