Taco score :
Asada was a solid 8 – not too dry, good seasoning
Al Pastor 6 – wish it had more flavor but not bad
Chicarron 6 – too mushy but great flavor
Cabeza 8 – was surprised how good this was since you don’t see many ppl make this good I wish I had gotten more of this one .
Mulita de asada- 6 cheese was mid , rather stick to tacos but it’s a decent size for $5
Originally I’d seen this on Instagram, but was driving by today looking for food with a friend when I saw the truck. It’s $1 per taco cash, but there us a fee with card. Still, $4 for 4 everyday almost beats the $4 for 4 only on Tuesdays.
The asada and al pastor was very…plain? Nothing to write home about. Not bad, but not special? The cabeza though was great. So juicy and delicious. The chicharron was good too- maybe it was soggy from the salsa I put- but still yummy. I appreciate the grilled onions and lemons on the side. Sometimes places don’t give those out.
I need to come by again when I’m in the area. I’m hoping the carnitas and lengua is just as good as that cabeza taco was.
Not anything that would ruin it for me, but there is a lack of seating- it’s a truck, of course. But I’ve seen and been to a lot of stands and trucks that do have a little seating area. So I thought that’s something to note since I was asked if I wanted it “for here or to go”.
The chicharrón, asada, al pastor and chorizo are bomb. Especially the chicharrón tacos are . The sauces are good too. Definitely the new taco spot and for only $1 a taco what more could you ask for.
