Went there on 6/22/26 for dinner. Hadn’t been there in a year. Only 3 other customers. Ordered chicken fried steak & egg and a biscuits & gravy. Order came to my table in 5 minutes. You could immediately tell the chicken fried steak was cooked in old oil (super deep dark brown color). Hash browns were crispy on the outside, cold on the inside. The gravy on the biscuits & gravy had absolutely NO flavor. The eggs were good, coffee was bitter. Took only two bites each of chicken fried steak, the hash browns and biscuits & gravy. Paid the bill and left. Went across the street and got a Runza.

For a restaurant next to a truck stop it was pretty good actually. Breakfast was delicious. The pancake was different tasting but good. Nice spot to eat with family before hitting the road.
Our waiter was friendly and he helped make sure we enjoyed our food.
Would try it again if we are ever in the area and need a place to eat.

The man and woman in this kitchen has really bad energy that is visible from the booth/bar/counter. Idk if he upset about me ordering an omelet at 4pm or what ♂️ but he slammed my plate down an it was loud enough to grab my attention. The omelet had very minimal cheese on it, hardly any at all. I would’ve taken a Pic an will next time I pass thru. On top of that, I didn’t get my pancake till I was 2 bites away from finishing my meal. He forgot my pancake an I heard my waiter tell him about it several times. I guess almost anything taste good with ketchup. I hate leaving bad reviews so much that I’m starting at 2 stars nowadays. They get a 3rd star cause I really liked my server, she was on top of things. The 2 cooks energy is so bad, I’m not sure why they having such a bad day, but as a customer, I shouldn’t have to deal with that. My server apologized when the older fellow slammed down my plate, an again when they forgot my pancake an it took forever to get done. I didn’t even do anything to these cooks! An i feel bad that the waitress has to depend on tips when they cooks giving off those vibes. I gave her a decent tip cause I feel sorry with what she must be dealing with. They can at least get the orders right.

My family and I stopped into Country Pride for a nice, sit down dinner. 3 of us ordered the Smothered Steak burger with mashed potatoes and veggies. Then we had one who got breakfast…..boy did that look amazingly delicious! Lastly, one ordered a burger and fries. The gentleman who brought our food and drinks was very polite, friendly and made it a nice dining experience. It was kind of late so the diner was pretty empty. The only complaint we had is that our vegetables were cold. All in all, I can say we all left with our bellies full and with great satisfaction at our meals of choice.

First thing, above all, Steve is freaking amazing! My family spent the last 10 days driving from Utah to Maryland and back. On our way out, we came here for breakfast service at open on a Saturday. It was clean and delicious and well worth the cost. Fast service for fresh made food. Steve took care of us and set the best possible mood for the beginning of our adventure. My 8 year old made a “name friend” he loved that they shared a name, and Steve entertained his sillyness. Made us all feel like family. So much so, that the entire time we were on our trip my son made sure to remind us we needed to stop by on our way home, so we did. We had a different server, Heather. She was so kind and very pleasant. Great service! Steve still made a point to say hello and ask how we were doing. Service was still amazing at nearly lunch time on a Monday. Food just as great! After these experiances, we will forever stop here on our journeys. Thank You Steve!!!

I’d like to point out this rating is not based on my visit, but on behalf of all the other 1 star reviews of this resturants.
Its been made clear by many the issues that go on around in this resturant. From poor service to just bad food.
I think it should be a crime that the owner posts comments back to the customers who had bad experiences, and then goes on to let those bad experiences keep happening to others time and time again.
For these reasons I’m posting this review as a service to others.
The owner needs to clean up their act or they should be taken to court for their disgusting etiquette.
People should not be paying for their mistakes.

Warm up and rest here in a cozy and inviting place. The all you can eat style restaurant was perfect for what we needed. Hot coffee and the biscuits and gravy were amazing. The dining was very clean and it’s shows pride even though people are in and out of there. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive to our requests for very random additions to the meal. The muffin egg omelettes were a unique favorite that we hadn’t enjoyed before today.
