Amazing experience at Cafe Vivo. Food was perfect and all homemade, drinks were top notch and service was immaculate. Jesse, our waitress/bartender was amazing and made us want to come back again. We loved the beets appetizer, burrata salad, creamy chicken rigatoni and the seafood pasta… and the olive oil cake with strawberries and rhubarb cannot wait to come back!

Get your reservations before deciding to just pop into here. We almost didn’t get in! The wife got the burrata and it was delicious. I was regretting my life choices when I only ordered the Cesar salad the burrata was so good. Moving on to the main course, the salmon dish was good however we thought it tasted too much of lemon. However they knocked it out of the park with the rigatoni. No complaints there.
Staff did great there. I noticed that there was always someone checking the room. With that said, it’s a small room so they can’t hold a lot of people. So I would make sure to get reservations to make sure you can get a seat. Even though they just opened they appear to be quite popular which is great!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Elevated Italian Dining Experience in the Heart of Stanwood

From the moment we stepped into Vivo Italian Bistro, we were greeted by the warm ambiance of a beautifully designed, intimate space—anchored by a breathtaking bar that sets the tone for a truly special evening.

Vivo delivers on every detail, from handcrafted in-house pastas and sauces to a thoughtfully curated seasonal menu that reflects both passion and precision. Each dish was rich in flavor and beautifully plated—exactly what we hoped for, and more.

Our server, Jessie, was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided exceptional service that elevated the entire dining experience. The cocktails were masterfully crafted, showcasing creativity and care that rival the finest destinations.

Vivo is a gem worth celebrating—ideal for date nights, anniversaries, or any elevated occasion. We’ll absolutely be returning and recommending it to friends near and far.

First time dining at Vivo. Seating was tight and not very intimate. It would have been claustrophobic if all tables had been occupied. Steak was amazing accentuated by the sides and sauce! Next time we will skip the appetizers (brussel sprouts and meat balls which were mediocre) and go straight to the entre. Desserts were good.

We were one of the first guests for the soft opening. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We ordered a bottle of red wine from Italy and started with the focaccia bread and meatballs. Everything is made in house, and it shows. It’s all so delicious! For entrees we had the chicken pesto rigatoni and the petite steak. It’s too bad I started getting full, because I wanted to order more food! We ended our meal with the homemade Tiramisu. Best I’ve ever had. The manger Jessie had an amazing attention to detail. I can’t wait to go back!

We had an incredible experience at Vivo! I started with the Lavender Bee Martini—light, perfectly balanced, and just the right touch of floral without being overpowering. It came in a generous pour and was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered an Old Fashioned, which was strong, smooth, and expertly made.

For appetizers, we tried the meatballs and the focaccia bread with chimichurri sauce—both highly recommended. The flavors were bold, fresh, and set the tone for the rest of the meal.

The star of the night was the confit chicken. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was hands down the most tender chicken I’ve ever had—even better than what we achieve at home with our smoker. The creamed potatoes were silky smooth, and the blistered Brussels sprouts had the perfect crunch and char. Every bite was packed with flavor.

We also shared the short rib pappardelle, and wow—the noodles completely stole the show. Rich, hearty, and layered with flavor, it felt like being transported straight to Italy.

Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert and finished with the tiramisu. It was light, airy, and had all the right notes of espresso, cocoa, and cream. A perfect ending.

Although we had a reservation, we chose to sit at the bar—and we’d recommend you do the same! The atmosphere was warm, lively, and the bartenders made the experience even more enjoyable. The wait might be long, but it’s more than worth it.

Old review below from when it was a Thai restaurant:

Wow very happy!!

First off the portion size was great, we could have shared an entree! We ate the crab Rangoons so fast that I forgot to take a picture. I have no complaints at all. I will be coming back next time I want Thai in Stanwood!

Food was good, still new so a couple things need fine tuned. We got the Cacio e pepe, a little too salty but good flavor. The drinks were good and made quickly. Our waitress was new, but super sweet. Honestly all was great until after we paid and were finishing our drinks before leaving. A waitress (not the one who helped us) asked us to leave so another table could come in. I was kind of caught off guard, and I understand when reservations come in you need to get people in, but when we left there were 5 empty tables. Those could have been reserved also so I totally get that, it was just rude to ask us to leave and basically chug my alcohol, instead of waiting 5 minutes for me to finish my drink. It made it seem like the people who make reservations are more important than those seated prior. If you don’t have time to seat people, then kindly say you have no room without a reservation. That’s more acceptable than asking someone to leave, which was embarrassing.
