What I liked the most was the service provided by Coco. She was extremely attentive, polite, and friendly. She suggested which dishes were worth trying, quickly brought everything we ordered, and created a genuine feeling of care for the guests. Thanks to her professionalism, the overall experience was even better.
The staff’s habit of smoking at the entrance is unprofessional and off-putting for non-smoking patrons. Despite being the sole customers, service was inexplicably slow, leading to a prolonged wait for our meals.
The dishes did not justify their premium pricing. The Vassilissa’s Tartare lacked flavor, the Mediterranean Sea Carpaccio was overly salted with only a few translucent slices, and the tortelloni portion was insufficient. The spaghetti with clams and truffle was devoid of truffle essence, resulting in an unbalanced flavor profile.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is underwhelming, featuring plastic, unstable tables and a lack of coziness.
While some patrons have praised the restaurant, our experience was marred by unprofessional conduct, slow service, subpar food quality, and an uninviting atmosphere. These factors collectively fail to meet the expectations set by the restaurant’s reputation and pricing.
Overall I can recommend this over all the fish restaurants in Trastevere and Rome as a whole.

The gorgeous food experience was further elevated by the very attentive and professional staff, and nice wines 🙂
5/5 totally recommend! Trust Marco and enjoy the food!
Went for a family dinner. We god different items of the menu.
For starter tartare and oysters both delicious.
For the main some went for pasta and other for the fish of the sea that was a seabrim roated with a side.
Fish was cooked perfectly, the pasta was too salty so we send it back, but the service was cery professional and prompt so a new item was sent: in this case we got a teriaky tuna, again delicious. The service was a little slow, but the staff is not numerous, and it it fine as the freshness of the ingredients sometimes requires more time. Good selection of wines.
Definitely recommended
I’m sure a lot of people are attracted to this location by its high rating but I think in terms of everything, it’s decent so I wouldn’t call it exceptional in any way as implied by the high rating. I wish the menu has better English translation than that given by Google translate.
Food wise there are some innovation but the result is not as delicious as it could have been.
The Gamberoni Terra a Mare (Land and Sea Prawns) is basically a pair of fried prawns in thin cheesy string wrap. I don’t think it tastes better than well done tempura shrimps as the cheesy coating overwhelmed the prawn flavors.
Tagliolini Mare Nostrum ai crostacei (noodle with shrimps) has a pile of raw shrimps with a pomodoro base filled with some carrots, squash, and bay shrimps. The bay shrimps should be cleaned better as some still have the black “vein” but the biggest problem is that sause doesn’t have enough tomato taste which would help neutralizing the fishy taste. The “squash” veggie is tad too bitter which is disonnant with the sauce. I liked the small pile of raw shrimps as it adds a unique flavor but it’s not enough to offset the rest of dish.
Service is ok and you get your choice of sparkling or still water but food takes awhile so don’t come here if you want a no frill dinner. The place is not big and it wasn’t busy for me at 730pm on a Friday. I like that the waiter didn’t come unnecessarily asking how are the food which I prefer. There are about same number of seatings outside or inside but don’t come in large groups.
I applaud the innovations it tries to do but taste is not better than simpler fare I’ve had outside of Italy. For Italian food in Italy it’s not good enough for a 4 star.
