We’ve been searching for an authentic Japanese restaurant in Meycauayan, and OMIYAGE EXPRESS completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance transported us straight to Japan — cozy, clean, and beautifully designed with a true Japanese touch.
The food is incredible — you can tell it’s the real deal because they import their ingredients directly from Japan. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, capturing the authentic taste of Japanese cuisine perfectly. Bento meals was amazingly delicious, the ramen was rich and perfectly seasoned, and the tempura was light and crispy — just how it should be!

Kuya Art’s Cakeshop
We tried Omiyage Express recently and it was good. Ambience is cool and cozy, very Japanese in mood, good music (but partly loud), place is not that big but good enough for 20 to 25 people (I suppose), plus they still have a couple of tables outside the shop. They offered the dip-fried wrapped crab (sorry, I forgot its name but it’s in the photos), this tastes good! It was served with side salad and its dipping sauce. You’ll get 6pcs per order but unfortunately, we were given 5pcs only as they ran out of stock that time. They were very apologetic about it though and they gave us a discounted price instead for that 5pcs served. I tried their tonkatsu ramen and it’s also good, with lots of toppings by the way, plus it was served with one whole egg cut in half. It was served hot which made it taste better. We also ordered the gyudon bento which includes California maki, ebi tempura with houseblend iced tea. Sadly, no soup was served which should have been part of the serving. Beef gyudon is partly salty but once you combine it with rice, it will taste better. We ordered for two more tonkantsu ramen (to go) since we liked it. Our bill was just around P1,100, not bad for 5 dishes. Try their potato salad also. You can search Omiyage Express online, it’s here in Meycauayan and this is just near Malanday Valenzuela.
