We ordered hibachi and 6 rolls & he looked at our order and turned around to ask if we were sure it wasn’t our first time. & I said “yeah we’ve been here before. Why?” And he said “it’s a lot of rolls” and I just made a confused face & he walked away.
We were under the influence so that’s why we didn’t say anything. But me & my husband were bothered by it after that. We just ate & only tipped $5 bc that was such an unnecessary comment why would you question or judge someone’s food quantity as a server? I was a server before. We ordered everything at once so we didn’t have to bother him. Even tho he only had 2 tables & still wasn’t attentive either… anyways, the other times I’ve been here, are ok. We will just request another server if we come back. The service needs help I guess
Was seated quickly. Had the All You Can Eat sushi. It was mediocre at best. Bland, wet, way too much avocado, and they acted like there was a rice shortage.
The sauces were edible, but uninspiring, without much flavor. The fish tasted as if it had been long frozen and given up any chance of flavor. Pretty sure it had food coloring added, because the freshness was seriously lacking. The spicy wasn’t even noticeable. I’ve had fish and chips with more flavor.
The temperature of what was served was not the best as well.
It looks pretty, but tasted disappointing.
The environment was ok, minus the massive table in the center of the room piled with what can only be described as the employee hangout area.
Overall extremely disappointed by the quality, the taste and the overall appeal of this restaurant.
We ordered two of the chicken noodle full bowls and the veggie bowl—all of them were packed with flavor, generous portions, and so comforting. The broth was rich, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the veggies fresh and vibrant (the tofu was a great texture as well)
Their bubble teas are on sale! Super cheap and the size is HUGE. Our top picks were the mango boba (fruity and refreshing) and the brown sugar milk tea boba (sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of indulgent). Each drink was perfectly made and they were really really good!
The kids were obsessed with the yam sushi—definitely a surprise hit! It was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Which we didn’t expect from a vegetarian sushi.
Edo Japan is a win for the whole family…delicious food, great variety, and something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!
