I understand for a Sunday evening things are a little slow and we had a party of 9 but I can’t excuse that for what we had experienced. We had a large party and they were very accommodating. The appetizers were 5 star but that was where things started to go downhill. Four in our party ordered the sirloin steaks. When they arrived, everyone had the wrong steaks. There we were trying to figure out the doneness of each and scraping off mushrooms to give the medium well steak for the medium steak, switching sides with each other and just very confused table. The simple dinners, burger, chicken nuggets were ok. The worst was the full rib dinner. Very overdone, even had burnt meat that had to be cut with a knife to get a single rib to eat. Several bites were extremely tough to chew. The side of broccoli was overcooked as well. We had to ask for any and all condiments. One bright side was the loaf of bread with the entrees. Some were provided with dull butter knives to cut their loaves while some had serrated knives to easily slice their loaf. Watching some destroy their bread with a butter knife was very entertaining!

The waitress was awesome m great smile never was pushy or in a hurry. Gave us time look at menu and to order. Made sure we had drinks and anything else we needed. The fries were perfect, good and crispy . The Buffalo chicken sandwich was good. Not dry but definitely should be a little more Spicer. Hopefully the new owners keep it the same. Prices are good as well

Restaurant Review: Eddie J’s – A Haven for Steak Lovers

Located in Napoleon, Ohio, Eddie J’s is a hidden gem for steak enthusiasts. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this renowned establishment, and I must say, the experience left me utterly impressed.

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by warm and attentive staff members who made me feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with dimmed lighting and tasteful décor that set the perfect mood for an unforgettable meal.

Now, let’s get to the star of the show—the steak. Eddie J’s is unquestionably a paradise for carnivores, and their steak offerings are nothing short of exceptional. The menu boasted a tantalizing array of cuts, each carefully sourced and expertly prepared. After much deliberation, I opted for their signature sirloin, and it was a decision I will never regret.

The sirloin steak arrived perfectly seared, with a beautiful caramelized crust. With each bite, the steak melted in my mouth, releasing a burst of rich, succulent flavors that made my taste buds dance with joy. Cooked to perfection, it had just the right amount of marbling, ensuring a tender and juicy texture throughout.

Accompanying the steak was a selection of delectable sides, including grilled asparagus. The asparagus was cooked to a delightful crispness, providing a refreshing contrast to the hearty steak.

What truly elevated my dining experience at Eddie J’s was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, offering knowledgeable recommendations and promptly attending to any requests. They exuded a genuine passion for their craft, creating an atmosphere that made me feel like an esteemed guest.

To conclude, Eddie J’s is a must-visit for any steak aficionado in Napoleon, Ohio. Their dedication to quality, impeccable flavor profiles, and impeccable service are a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an unforgettable steak, Eddie J’s is the place to be. Prepare to indulge in a dining experience that will leave you longing for more.

Party of 2. Appetizer of pickle fries (pickles cut longways into fry shapes and fried). Philly cheesesteak w/ fries and BLT w/ tater tots, the two side choices. Service was very prompt. Clean and well-lit. Good water (not a guarantee!) All the food was good. Not incredible, but for a tiny town local restaurant, WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND
