I’ve been here twice. The first time the service was pretty good. It was an older gentleman and he was helpful and kind and my bagel was made well. This time was awful. I walked in and the lady said “great” under her breath pretty loud. Then when I said “hi how are you” she said “fine” and was super cold. I ordered my meal and she punched it in and said my total and walked away. So rude. Both of my bagels ended up being burned. I didn’t dare say anything though. I’m a student and would have come here 2x a week if this place was good but I’ll never come again. This place sucks.

I hate to have to come here and do this because I am a regular that’s been going to this location since I moved here in 2020 but I am very disappointed with my purchase this morning. My daughter walked in to get our online order and she had the pepperoni bagel it had burnt pepperoni’s and barely any cheese on it. It was broken and all as soon as we opened the box. I know the person who made this bagel saw this I’m just trying to figure out why it was still served to us??? I understand the place is packed in the am but that does not mean that the food should be rushed. I have waited patiently plenty of times and never complained because I like this place and I have experienced great customer service to the point where the older gentleman at the cash register knows my name. Since I was in a rush I did not have time to come back but I definetly would to get a new order made or my money back!!!! This is unacceptable.

I can’t say enough good things about the team here! I made a mistake and placed a catering order for Valentine’s Day heart shaped bagels after they had already closed for the night. When I showed up the next morning, the team informed me that they made my bagels fresh on the spot. They completely went above and beyond to fix my error. Not only was the service incredible but the bagels were warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. 11 out of 10 would recommend. Thanks for everything.

Ordered the cranberry bagel with coffee and the gal really didn’t want to be bothered although I was the only one there. She gave me a dirty look because I said no cream cheese. Bagel has zero taste and you can’t taste cranberry. Coffee was not hot and only one container worked. I understand now why it’s empty. And there are no plant milks either. I feel like I’m imposing even though the place is totally empty. I understand they’re struggling but don’t take it out on a paying customer. Yes, I did leave a tip but even after seeing that, the gal couldn’t find the decency to be cordial. (Why tipping is even necessary when you’re buying a bagel, I will never know, but that’s beside the point.)

When the owner told me to leave at 2pm (I walked in around 1:45), I did tell him that the coffee wasn’t warm. His response was a nasty, ‘have a nice day.’ Is that how you earn your customers? No thanks!

I have ordered from this location between 5 – 10 times in the last 6 months and the food quality has been poor and inconsistent. I usually order online and pick it up but I have ordered in store and gotten the same poor results.

I order the same thing always: Nova Lox on a cheddar jalapeno bagel w/ various cream cheeses. On multiple occasions, the bagels have been stale or the bagels were completely the wrong type. The cream cheese the consistency of soapy dishwater, or non-existent on the sandwich. The sandwiches always are sloppily put together and wrapped in the paper.

Lastly, the Nova Lox comes with chips when you order online, however, when I ordered in-store I was told that this location’s combos have changed and the sandwich was the same price as it is when it comes with the chips.

I have been to other locations in the northern virginia area and have not had these same quality or service issues. This location is the worst.

High On Travel !
Every time I visit here, I’m reminded why I don’t come here often. The cashiers are generally blasé about their job. Rarely, a hello or nice greeting. I’m currently waiting for my simple bagel. It’s going on 15 minutes. When inquired about the wait, I just get a freaking blank stare. I guess from finding good employees is hard these days. Maybe pay a bit more for better people. That will increase your sales and customer satisfaction. Right now, I just want my bagel and to leave.

How hard is it to make an egg and cheese? Apparently, very hard at this location. It took two tries and my sandwich still had bacon on it. On the third attempt, they finally removed the bacon… but also removed the cheese. At that point, I gave up. Extremely frustrating experience and a total waste of time.

I don’t know how this place stays a live. I’ve been living close by for 5 years and I go like 2 times a year because it’s SO slow. I thought it was the workers at first but they finally changed who was working here but it’s still incredibly slow. The workers are nicer than the previous ones. But it just took me 20 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich. So be prepared to wait or use the app.

I visited this restaurant today and was shocked at the attitude and poor service I received! The young lady with the auburn hair and one braid was more interested in her conversation on the phone than giving any type of customer service. I really ruined her day by showing up and wanting to order some food from this establishment at 1:45pm on March 1, 2025. I am so sorry I bothered you and interrupted your conversation. Wow.

I ordered 2 bagels WITH SHMEAR, 1 breakfast sandwich, 2 caramel macchiatos WITH WHIPPED CREAM, and 1 cold brew shake WITH WHIPPED CREAM through DoorDash for my team at work. The order arrives, the bagels do not come with the shmear that we asked for, none of the drinks has any whipped cream or caramel drizzle as advertised in the menu photo AS WELL AS THE DESCRIPTION!! AND the Cold Brew Shake was supposed to be a blended drink, they gave us black coffee with ice in it instead. In addition, we also got something in our bag that we didn’t even order, it was an egg bite or something.

We knew that DoorDash would have nothing to do with that, and most likely wouldn’t issue a refund, so we decided to call the store instead. Nobody answered the phone, so I decided to just drive up there to get what we actually ordered, and take back the incorrect drink. I arrive, and I approach the counter and greet the younger girl with stars next to her name on her badge, she does not greet me back. I brush it off, and explain the issue to her and she looks at me confused. I asked her to remake the drink that was incorrect, and explained to her that it was supposed to be a Blended coffee drink, not just black coffee with ice. She looks at my DoorDash order, then looks at the receipt, then looks back at the DoorDash order, and then proceeds to say she can remake the macchiatos. I let her know that she didn’t have to do that, I only needed the blended coffee drink to be remade. She then walks off and starts making the drink without confirming with me. Again, I brush it off as I’m assuming she’s just overwhelmed from the client volume in the building, and may not have the ability to apologize or make small talk, I get it. She places the drink in front of me and says “here’s the drink” I look at it, and there’s no whipped cream. I asked her “isn’t this supposed to have whipped cream?” She says “Whipped cream and caramel is extra” immediately I’m thrown off because whipped cream is in the description of the drink as well as on the drink in the photo on the menu. I said “why is it extra if it’s listed as a part of the drink? That was the whole reason we even ordered the drinks because of the whipped cream” and she just shrugged her shoulders and said it’s an extra fee. I looked at her stunned for a second, and just said “okay, whatever thank you” and left. I wasn’t going to go back and forth about whipped cream, but the fact that they messed up our entire order, and already charge an arm and a leg for a “large” drink in a medium sized cup even before DoorDash’s taxes, you would think that adding the whipped cream for free wouldn’t be a problem, as a means to rectify their mistake. They didn’t, so we paid extra already for a drink that’s supposed to have whipped cream on it, and then would’ve had to pay ANOTHER FEE if we wanted the whipped cream that we already paid for!

I will not be returning to this location, and will not recommend anyone to go to that location either out of fear that poor business practices, price gouging and rather unfriendly cashiers will be the expected outcome. I’m sure it’s not the workers fault, and usually poor attitude from the workers is due to the environment that the franchisees and management team have created within their business. Serious business reflection is needed at this location.
