Worst yet, the man at rhe counter said it was all set, and to tap my card on the reader. All of a sudden the price went from $42 to $51 because he had put in a nice little $7.99 tip for himself. I said I wanted that taken off and he tried to say it was MY FAULT. Like no, you pulled a sneaky on me, and it’s illegal to do that.
Do not recommend coming here. There’s plenty of pizza places that make great pizza, and don’t try and steal from customers.
Walked in and to my surprise, I was the only one there. I soon learned why. Place was dirty, trash on the floor, everything in a disarray , no greeting as employees were too busy looking at phones. Chalk board menu above counter was sloppily half erased and prices all missing. Regardless I ordered two slices.
I had to use the bathroom while the slices were heating up. Cannot describe how filthy the bathroom was. Came back to pay for my pizza and they wanted $14.99 for two slices – no soda, just two slices. I was set back but decided to pay anyways. To my demise they use one of those card processing tablets, the ones that make it impossible to get past without providing a tip. So another dollar down the drain.
Pizza seemed like it was hours old. Not the way I remember.
While eating, and after being ripped off, it was no surprise why I was the only one there at 1pm on a workday. Dirty environment, unfriendly, overpriced stale pizza.
Sadly left and passed by three employees while heading for the door, not one greeting as their only customer left.
Not the same it was years ago, looks like a lot of other people stopped going. Never again for me. Lesson learned.
Did I mention $14.99 for two slices of pizza!!!
I am changing my review because this has happened to us a few times now- we try to order something custom with the spicy tomato sauce like a pizza with meatballs and spicy tomato sauce or a pasta with the spicy tomato sauce but they treat us like we are stupid and tell us we don’t know what we’re talking about. How hard is it to explain that you want the sauce to be spicy like in the Gambari dish?
We have given up asking for this and will never go back.
