Actually I didn’t plan to eat neither Indian nor Nepalese food during my vacation in Malta, but the good reviews of this place convinced me to give it a try and I absolutely loved the food. The Khursani masala was super creamy, well spiced and very delicious. The chicken tikka was well grilled and well spiced too. The naan was very good. The restaurant is located in a food court, so I review only the food, not the place.

Bumped into this vendor when visited the food hall, tried the momos and himalaya lamb with naan! Absolutely delicious!! Apparently everything is made fresh, the momos are so juicy and we love it! The himalaya lamb is to die for, and the naan is super fresh and tasty! The staff is very friendly and helpful!! Great experience and surprisingly lovely foods in the food hall!!

Just had the Himalayan Lamb curry. Easily the best lamb curry I’ve ever had in my life! The taste is like no other, very unique. I asked the staff to make my dish spicy and they absolutely delivered! Would most definitely return!

A really great an enjoyable vegetable curry plate, chickpea dish or the spinach dish. Really recommended! We were eating there 3x and always 5 stars. The food was the best here. Inside of the Valetta Food Market! The greatest place to try food in Malta! Friendly staff.

While exploring the charming streets of Valletta, I came across The Everest, a small and quiet place that instantly caught my attention. It felt like one of those spots you don’t plan to visit but end up remembering. I was in the mood for something different and decided to try it out without any expectations.

I looked through the menu and ordered jhol momos, a dish I had never tasted before. I chose it out of curiosity and I am glad I did. The momos were soft and packed with flavorful filling, but what truly made the dish stand out was the broth. It was warm, tangy, and full of rich spices that worked really well together. It gave the dish a comforting depth that made every bite better than the last.

The service also left a great impression. The staff were calm and friendly. One of them noticed my interest in the dish and shared a bit about it in a casual and welcoming way. That kind of small but thoughtful interaction made the visit feel personal and genuine.

The prices were reasonable and the portion size was more than enough for one person. For a restaurant in Valletta, it felt like a good deal. The place had a peaceful vibe, which made it perfect for a relaxing solo meal or a quiet evening with a friend.

The Everest does not try too hard to impress with appearance, but the food and the atmosphere do all the talking. It feels like a place that takes pride in what they serve. If you are someone who enjoys trying new flavors or simply wants a break from the usual choices, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I will surely return to try more from the menu.

Food is incredible! We ate 3 meals here during our time in Malta. Chicken momos are a definitely get, they are spicy. Has an option to come with a soup, isn’t worth the upcharge and better on their own. Gurkhali curry and lasan are both definitely order. Comes with naan which is surprisingly sweet. Not worth the uocharge for garlic or persharwi naans. The butter prawns and chati kukharu were good but not in comparison to the other 2 curries. The girl that took our order seemed confused at our questions and was hard to understand with the mumbling. You can order it with Indian spice as well if you want spicer food.

Saw really good reviews here so thought I’d dip my toes in and I can’t believe how out of this world the food is. The chicken was ridiculously soft and juicy and the tikka was mind blowing. Have come back twice since and it’s just a immaculate, I don’t know how they do it! It was super concise and even ordering was a breeze. As with most food courts you get a buzzer and it will buzz when you’re sat down to alert you on your food being ready. Honestly highly recommend this place, haven’t got too many days to try all the food venues in here but if they’re on par with The Everest then you’re in for a treat! Stupendous place!

I loved their jhol momo. I love this dish anyway so keep ordering this in Nepali places. This place made it very well. I had the chicken gurkhali gravy dish which was also very nice (similar to chicken Kadhai). Friendly staff
