Food was excellent. Great pizzas. Possibly over attentive/keen servers! Have seen this place packed but quiet on day/time we ate, ~18:30. Would recommend.

As a pizza connoisseur, I can tell you that the classic Margherita is the best pizza one can get. La Cueva restaurant clearly knows how to make a good pizza. It’s all about the preparation and using fresh ingredients. The Italian chef takes care and serves tasty pizza for dine in and take away. I opt for takeaway because I prefer pizza out of a box

Stopped in for dinner, 2 of us, restaurant was empty except for another couple, waiter tried to seat us right next to them, tables were about 16” apart. Asked for a different table, he seemed a bit put out. Got seated. For starters we had Brushetta which was ok and prawns and mushrooms, prawns were way overcooked, bits of garlic also burnt along with some other ingredient that was burnt to a crisp. For mains I had Tagliatelle with Puttanesca sauce, my wife had salmon penne, both dishes were very good, pasta al dente and sauces rich and flavourful. We shared a cheesecake for desert, bad move, it was one of those mass produced packaged ones, tasted nasty. Service was not great, waiter very inattentive, never came to check out food or refill drinks. Lots of good restaurants in PDC competing for your tourist euro..won’t be back here.

First and last time eating here. 4 of us got different meals and nobody enjoyed it. My fish was horrible and far from fresh! Calzone pizza was soggy and the steak was full of fat and grizzle. Staff spent most of the time drinking beer down the alley beside us. Horrible experience overall

So happy to have stumbled across this place!

Lovely little restaurant with warm welcoming vibe. Good value, delicious flavours and authentic dishes and cuisson.

Massive plus was the impeccable service. Waiter was attentive, understanding and laid back. Made sure everything was to our liking and didn’t pressure or push anything. Definitely recommend a visit.

We have eaten here twice this week. First time we just came across the place and the second was our unanimous choice for the last meal of the holidays.

Pizzas were fresh and daughter loved watching the chef make them. Pasta was also fresh and can recommend the tagliatelle carbonara and they catered well for my wife who doesn’t have gluten with the gluten free lasagne a hit

Deserts were also good particularly the panna cotta

Staff were excellent on both visits so will be back next time we are in Lanzarote.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Food terrible. The chicken breast turned out to be what appeared to be dry deep fried slices of chicken that tasted like cardboard.

Been here many times over the years and loved it, so left our visit until the last night. Sorry to say a huge disappointment. Small portions of tasteless bruschetta, very fatty bacon in the carbonara and Amatriciana (rather disgusting) and slow service. Was hungry so ate what we could. Didn’t complain on the night as not worth the hassle and was short of time. Only reason 2 stars, as staff were nice. Need to up their game
