Eli was such a great server and really made the night special. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, and the food was so good. I came here for my birthday dinner and couldn’t have been happier. The chicken parm was perfectly crispy and the pasta tasted fresh and homemade. Such a great experience all around!

Absolute hidden gem!!! And so surprising. Drove by this spot every week for years. Upset that it took so long for me to try the place. Every dish was phenomenal and we are definitely discriminating foodies!! Never a meal without complaints from this crew but we were all raving fans about this meal. Do not sleep on this place. Thanks George!!! Service was first class family love. Pasta with Bolognese, Eggplant Parmigiana, Osso Bucco, Lamb Chops. Not one thing disappointed. And the Zabaione-custard with Strawberries ??? OMG!!! And that’s not all…Live entertainment? Tony sounded like old blue eyes!! I just can’t say enough about the experience.

Fried calamari he ever had! And that’s true… me and my wife we got two bowls of Lobsters Bisque! They were simply delicious, looks like the chef is proud of his culinary expertise because was one of the best Lobsters bisque I ever had, very similar to the Knife and Forth Restaurant in AC, the soup was full of flavor, creamy, like I said simply delicious! Everyone in our party of six where very happy with their meals, we share with each other and every dish had it’s on color of flavors and every dish was unique in flavor and all delicious!
We had red snapper it was moist and server with a tangy sauce, my wife ordered shrimp scampi over angel hair, bold in flavor and little kick of spicy. We ordered New York steak, very good cut of meat cooked to perfection, for dessert we had their cream brûlée, Napoleon, and sampler, all of them very nice presented and great flavor!!! in general we highly recommend Il Portico Restaurant!!! We can’t wait to come back! Price is very good for the quality of meals you are getting!!! Many tables around us were happy as well as their meals!
I hear the server mentioned to another table that the restaurant is family owned and run! No wonder the service and food is so excellent! They are very proud of their cuisine!!!

We had such a great dinner at Il Portico in Burlington. We honestly don’t usually go out for Italian — my husband is Sicilian, so we’re picky — but this place really impressed us.
The gnocchi with four cheeses was light and perfectly done (not heavy at all). The linguine with clams was fresh and flavorful, and even the cannoli were spot on — crisp shell, creamy filling, not too sweet.
Everything tasted homemade and made with care. We left genuinely impressed, which doesn’t happen often with Italian for us. We’ll definitely be back.

Had date night there last night and it was absolutely amazing! Our waiter Eli was remarkable! Very attentive but not overwhelming, classically professional with a hint of humor, just lovely! He also surprised us with dessert and limoncello at the end which was totally unexpected and so sweet. We will be back for him!!! But let’s not forget about the food. We both had the specials and both were delicious!!! Big portions perfectly executed!!!

We had just the best experience here! The food was incredible throughout, but the service is unparalleled. They make you feel welcome and tended to, from the thoughtfulness of seating you to clarifying how you want aspects of the meal. I don’t even like beans, but they make such a lovely bean soup that I enjoyed it, and I live for the artichoke hearts appetizer. This is our special occasion spot from now on!

My husband and I stumbled on this beautiful gem! From the time we walked through the doors, you could feel the weight of the world fall off! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The esthetics make you feel so calm and relaxed! They had live entertainment which just added to the relaxing atmosphere since it was soft and smooth! Eli was our waiter was nothing short but extraordinary and delightful! His father Alberto owner & chef introduced himself and also made an amazing sauce to go on top of my steak! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I recommend everyone to come here!

Two word review: Profoundly Disappointing.
This establishment was recommended by someone who’s advice I will not longer be taking on any topic.
Why I will not be returning to dine there:
1. The wait staff failed to deliver the appetizer we ordered.
2. The wait staff never returned to our table to refill our water glasses and the two iced tea glasses in the two hours we were sitting there.
3. The kitchen staff put so much dressing on one of our Caesar salads that the lettuce was practically floating.
4. The wait staff brought a replacement salad after the main course was complete.
5. The owner or manager pushed a desert called a ‘Roman Cheesecake’ so we ordered one. It was awful. We mentioned this to one of the waitresses and she said something to the effect of ‘we get a lot of complaints about how disappointing it is’.
6. The management added the tip automatically to the bill. We had a table with five people. I have never been to a place that adds the tip on such a small party.
7. A ‘Leverage Fee’ was added to the bill.
8. The ‘Lobster Bisque’ was basically ‘Lobster-less Bisque’.

Came in on Thursday for the Jazz and a nice dinner. Loved my experience! I was welcomed immediately when I walked in and the bartenders, waitress and servers have impeccable customer service. The food was delicious, and the ambiance added to the beautiful quaint look of the atmosphere. The jazz band was amazing and loved the singers who voluntarily lent their talents. It was a great time and such a nice vibe! I will be back!!

Seafood Fra Diablo was good, but not $65 dollars good…. you only get half a lobster….. where did the other half of the so-called “live lobster” go? Also got the Veal Chop parm, which was very good as well for $50.. chocolate mouse was prob the best I’ve ever had! Table for two- 1app 2 meals 3 beers and a dessert $175 ($205 with tip) way overpriced. Good food, but I’d rather spend this money elsewhere… we were the only people in the place at 7 pm… please reevaluate your prices. This can maybe help fill your restraunts seats!!
