Food is awful service is iffy. I’m staying at the hotel so first night I tried there burger n fries and apple fritter dessert, the burger was burnt, fries not crispy, and the apple fritters were soggy & raw in the center with spoiled strawberries. So I wasn’t getting any of that again, next night I tried the smoked apple chicken thinking chicken& potatoes should be easy, but there was nothing smoked or apple about it they served a curry chicken with burnt potatoes. I don’t recommend.

The food was pretty good!
The only complaint I guess I would really have is that was veggies that came with the steak were nothing special. They felt more like the can of mixed veggies that was just microwaved.
The mashed potatoes weren’t seasoned very well either. I would love to see an improvement from the chef(s) with that. The steak sauce was really good.
Otherwise the food I had was great. The truffle fries were so good!

It started with a not so good experience at the perch lounge as I took my mom there for her birthday. However the exemplary service from Michelle to recommend this establishment Restored our faith in the customer service. Michelle handed us off to Christina who couldn’t have made my mom birthday better. We had the opportunity to meet the chef Elon and he was just as great..food was well prepared but let me tell y’all about that drink of Christina. That drink did wonders for me she definitely has a knack for making great memorable drinks. Visit here quick folks. U will love the food and ambiance.

We arrived to an empty dining room (only one other table) with a reservation at 12:45. We received our food at 1:24.

When I came in, I only saw the regular menu. I ordered off the regular menu not knowing there was a happy hour menu with better selections. I ordered a salad and fries. 3 min later, I learned of the happy hour menu from another customer and tried to change my salad for something else. The manager refused. When I got my salad, I was truly disappointed. The salad was poorly put together with one head of lettuce in it, 5 pcs of mini grilled chicken slices and soft croutons. I detested it.

Had the fried oysters and the flatbread.
Fried oysters were great, I truly loved the sauce. It gave everything a solid kick to the dish that was desperately needed. The corn accented both the spice and the fry well.
The flatbread was likely the closest to a NJ pizza that you will get in DC. It was good, could have used more sauce for sure (personal preference).
The service was okay. There were some lulls in our drink / food service. Nothing egregious but definitely not timely per say.
The servers were both sweet and accommodating.
Look at your bill though. I caught a $7 upcharge for something that the system apparently up-charged. So just something to be aware of while drinking.

Waitress rude and unfriendly, burger bun burnt and meat was not medium but well done. Waitress didn’t even ask if it tasted good. Happy hour only at the bar, you are not allowed to consume the drinks at the table with dinner, then have to pay the full price. What’s the point?
The restaurant itself is nicely furnished, but the view is creepy. You look out over buildings ready for demolition or a building site. The prices are far too high for the quality in this area. We will never come back.

The RowHouse is apart of the hotel, definitely come here if you don’t feel like going outside of the hotel. They have good food and drinks
