I stopped here for lunch on a whim because I was craving sushi, and I’m so glad I did, this place did not disappoint. The sushi was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
They offer an all-you-can-eat special that seemed very popular with other guests. They don’t serve alcohol and I don’t believe it’s BYOB, but they do have a great selection of other beverages. The tea, in particular, was absolutely amazing!

We’re out of our town for the day and decided to go for lunch found this place and we were not disappointed! The service was great! Everyone greeted us has we arrived and departed the food was fresh hot and very tasty. The sushi was out of this world!!! Not to mention the place was so clean,down to the entryway all the way to the bathrooms, even as we were eating, I saw the server that we had being meticulous with her cleaning. It was a breath of fresh air considering not all Asian establishments follow the same protocol.

While there I chicken, teriyaki, chicken and shrimp tempura roll. My co-worker had the drunken noodles With sweet potato roll. I felt that I had more of chicken teriyaki and rice when I place an ordee for pickup. Eating at the place, it seem food is less doesn’t taste better.. Also, I felt the place was a little bit chilly and felt it could have been a little bit warmer, especially now the temperature’s dropping. I gave it 3 because my coworker food was fine. And the food I had wasn’t as bad but I can’t see me giving any more than what I gave as far as that.. I would recommend going to check it out for yourself. And tell me what you think of the place this was just my opinion..

Sakana Sushi is easily one of my favorite spots in Hamilton. The sushi is always fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about quality — every roll tastes clean and well-balanced.
The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the service is quick even during busy times. The place has a calm, comfortable vibe that makes it great for both dine-in and takeout.
If you’re looking for consistently good sushi with great service and fair prices, Sakana is definitely worth a visit. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

My partner and I went to this restaurant today due to it being Mothers day! Since it was a “holiday”, we paid the higher price of $32.95 per person! Upon entering we were seated at a booth. The waiter gave us our menus and we proceeded to decide what we wanted to order. Its pretty standard, similar to other sushi buffets, you simply check off what you want, and they bring it to you. Drinks and desserts ARE NOT included with the buffet price which was disappointing! The food was okay, simple sushi. The sushi sandwich was our favorite! If you want unlimited sushi, you should come here! But, we advise to avoid coming on weekends or holidays, so you can avoid the RAISED PRICE!

Great food but it is so slow. We ordered and it took over an hour for the first round of food to come. Sushi took 1.5 hours and we were still missing multiple items including all of the specialty rolls ordered. Overall, after 2 hours and 15 minutes we only received 2/7 of our rolls and decided to leave. Definitely wasn’t all you can eat, especially when you leave hungry.

I came on a friday night with a reservation, ordered all you can eat sushi and waited over an hour before seeing my first piece. Hoping something would get better I stayed until i HAD to complain. we waited three hours and didn’t even get our full order. Would not recommend to anyone who a) wants more than 10 rolls b) would not waste 3 hours of there life.

LOVE IT!!! The sashimi are super fresh. The hot dishes are surprisingly good. The fries oysters are exceptionally yummy. This place has become my top choice for all u can eat sushi restaurant. They also gave us (x8) a private room which is awesome. The only drawback is lack of deserts as part of the meal. Let’s give green tea ice cream at least.
