Slowest Sonic in Shawnee, you’d think they’d have enough staff during rush, maybe the Sonic sucks so much that they cant find enough people to work… it shouldnt take 15+ min for one large drink. Do better 🙂

Okay so its not health food, but Sonic really hits the spot for me when I custom order a hamburger with extra lettuce and tomato. In fact I order all of their sandwiches with extra lettuce and tomato. I really like the chicker wraps, and oneI had a few weeks ago was so perfect! The vegetables at that particualr time were super fresh and crunchy and just gave the wrap a fantastic flavor.
I think highly of their junior double cheeseburger, especially with bacon!

I visited the Sonic on N Kickapoo in Shawnee and placed a simple drink order — a large Sprite with no ice, flavored with blood orange, vanilla, and sweet cream. While the drink itself was made correctly and tasted good, the service time was very disappointing.
It took 15 minutes to receive my order, which is far too long for a single drink. At a drive-in known for quick service, this delay was frustrating and made the experience less enjoyable. Accuracy was there, but speed was not.
This location needs to improve on efficiency, especially when handling straightforward orders. A 15-minute wait for one drink is not acceptable, and I hope management addresses this issue.

One of these is not like the other. They are supposed to be the same. I paid for the full size Ultimate Meat & Cheese and got a Jr, or more like a taquito sized, with a piece of bacon. This sonic has been bad again for a while. Sonic in general has really gone down hill. No more Sonic for me.

Ordered 2 drinks and a small moz sticks on the app, said it would be ready for pickup at 6:07pm, get to location at 6:11 and check in with the app. Order does not arrive until over 30 minutes later. I thought ordering ahead made it so you don’t have to wait long for orders? There were only 2 cars waiting before me as well. I can understand having to wait long for big orders, but 2 soft drinks and a 4pc moz sticks? Then asked for a drink carrier and one never came with order, not a big deal for the carrier though.
Added a Pic of my drinks, missing a piece on one of them too..
Side note, not sure if wearing “And1” basketball shorts are part of the dress code or not here, but doesn’t seem professional to me.

Waited 25 minutes for 2 drinks, don’t waste your time at this one. And before we get the “busy” excuse there were only 5 cars there and 2 of them were behind me in the drive through.

Ordered on the app around 9:55 while in parking lot app said they were open till 11:00pm. We pushed the button and waited several minutes. At 10:17 two employees walked out side locking the door. When I said hey we are waiting on drinks they female Kim told me pretty much that I was out of luck. I found that very rude considering we had been there and placed the order before 10:00pm. Really wish the app would fix the times cause I hear this is an ongoing issue

I went there after work. I sat there for 15 minutes waiting on my food and asked them where my food was she said it would be right out and she was the only one working. I seen 3 other people walking around in there. I ended up leaving and going to Arby’s. It’s the worse sonic EVER!! It’s not the first time I had to wait on my food either. DONT GO THERE!!

foods pretty good! sometimes the fries & tots are TOO salty but still. don’t have to wait a very long time just to order something. everyone seems pretty nice! when i had to wait for my food one time. the carhop came out and apologized for the wait & gave us a coupon! the shakes are WAY better than mcdonald’s

I have been here several times especially when they aren’t busy and it takes a long time to get anyone to drive thru window to pay and even longer to get your food. It is very conveniently located close to my house so I thought I would give it another shot today. 3 cars in front of me waiting on food then when I get to the window took almost 10 minutes for someone to get my money and I could see 4 or 5 employees standing around. Took about 18 minutes in total to get my food. 2 cars behind me drove away. Someone could have come to the window and said hey it’s going to be a few minutes and why….but only got sorry for the wait that was almost 20 minutes. Seriously? Do better Sonic. I will continue going to the one farther from my house. They are extremely friendly, explain any issues and most times very quick…outside of lunch and dinner rush.
