Houston 2023

This was my second time visiting this restaurant . Both times have been excellent. Plenty of room, very clean and staff are all so kind and helpful. I can’t say enough about the wonderful food they serve. I have not been disappointed at all. So far, each meal was excellent!!! Some of the best Mexican food I have had!!! Look at the size of the shrimp in the photo. It is a little drive for me, but it is worth the trip. I highly recommend this place and look forward to dining there again.

Love this family owned restaurant. I was visiting my aunt and I was in the mood for some good Mexican cuisine. I’m so glad that I picked this spot. My food was so good that I forgot to post but I did manage to take a pic of my aunt’s food!!

Lilly was our fabulous waitress! She was very knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu and she informed us of the weekly specials.

If you are seeking authentic Mexican food and Slidell, LA make sure you pay them a vist and give Lilly a nice tip!

I found this place by accident when I went shopping in Slidell. I have now eaten there a number of times. After moving from Austin TX I haven’t found a really good Mexican restaurant until this one with a similar name (Tres Amigos) to one in Austin.

The service was awesome. The tortilla chips were thin and crisp. The salsa was perfect. I order the burrito meal that comes with rice and frijoles each time I dine there.

The atmosphere is charming and reminds me of the places that I eat at in Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio. I believe this is a family run operation. Making even more desirable as they take pride in providing the best dining experience to their customers.

Food is AMAZING – flavor, price, portion sizes. And in this economy?! Can’t beat it. Not to mention the aesthetics inside are fabulous (the woodwork on the booths ) and they deck out the place in Halloween decorations! So festive! 10/10 would recommend.

This was takeout and it was delicious. More than enough for most people. When I picked up my food I instantly regretted not dining in. That sizzling tray sent an aroma in the air that made me salivate. Excellent service and the price we paid was adequate for the amount of food we received. And it gives a spicy kick!

Update!!! We dined in and got the sizzle directly to our table. OMG it was good. I did a little salsa dance at my table!!

All the food was amazing! Don’t let the outside fool you!! It is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant! My fiancée asked for extra cilantro on her steak fajitas and she got it! Very reasonably priced as well! Definitely will be making several visits back! The staff were absolutely so friendly and swift!

Was there Friday January 16th, 2026 with a friend from out of town, i told him this was the best Mexican restaurant in slidell. I should’ve bit my tongue ! The waitress was rude as hell when we said we didn’t know all of the rice and beans and pico came on the same plate, he wanted his rice on a separate plate without all the others and she got a smart ass attitude and said he could just eat the rice and when I told her he didn’t want it touching the beans, she got an even worse attitude and said “WELL NEXT TIME, U NEED TO JUST SAY THAT !” and she stormed off. She was very kind to the other people, they were white, which is crazy because i hate to feel like it was a race issue. I’ve never even seen her work there before, she must be new, but I dont appreciate the service we got from HER. He told me to leave it alone, so I had shut up and packed my food up and we left. Me and my children have been going there for 2 years and never had any issues with any of the staff there. Like I said, I told him it was the best Mexican restaurant in slidell, im embarrassed and still kind of irritated by the way the waitress was acting. We didn’t give off bad energy, but she was full of it

Dope spot! Almost seems like a hole in the wall find! The food is amazing and the servers are awesome. The lead server and bartender Stephanie is the best! The food is delicious. I’ve had nearly the entire menu and nothing here was short of great! The best thing I can add is the place is the real HOME OF THE FAJITA BURRIOTO! if you go this is a must try dish! Carne asada is another that’s top tier that were my two favorites and go tos!
