We ate dinner upstairs so we could hear each other talk without yelling over the music. We were promptly seated and served our drinks. The waiter was very nice and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious. The prime beef was not fatty or overcooked. The salmon is always a favorite, along with the crab cakes. The wings were good too, but you can’t order just flats. They did forget the blue cheese, but no biggie. The manager came up and asked how everything was. Good night at the Cellar!

We came in after an extremely long drive and even longer day at the beach and dealing with our rental condo… We were warmly greeted and sat immediately although quite busy being during the dinner rush. Draft beer was right on time and drinks came out immediately. Nice interior design! It definitely looked like a wine cellar with a cute bar in the middle. Our waitress was wonderful and tended to us and our very tired cranky children. She was very helpful with food recommendations. Typical pub style food. Everyone ate and was satisfied with what they ordered. I was so appreciative of her lovely personality! It was exactly what we needed! Thanks for the great service

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS WRONG STARTING WITH A LONG WAIT AT THE DOOR TO BE SEATED, RUDE WAITRESSES (ACTING like they don’t care) OMELETTE THAT ISNT OMELETTE (JUST FRIED EGG ON A BUNCH OF OIL) HAIR UNDER THE EGG.
60$ / 3 omelette with OJ . The smallest pots side I’ve ever sEEN and English muffins with frozen butter on the side. DONT COME HERE

Came here for lunch on St Patty’s Day. This place has packaged goods (liquor) for take out and is opened late. Staff is NOT friendly but the local people were very welcoming. Place had an eclectic menu with a great variety of food. Not just the typical bar menu either.

One of the BIGGEST ISSUES with this place is the OVER TAN bartender (FEMALE) who copped an attitude and actually made several RUDE comments. She also was making RUDE comments to a customer about other patrons in the bar as well. Not a very welcoming place- would advise to spend your $$$ elsewhere.

Funny, was happy with this place until the rude bartender made the above referenced nasty comments. NOT what one wants to hear when you are spending money at their establishment.

Guess it’s tough to accept the fact you are a washed up old stripper who has lost her looks and is now working at some Slower Jersey Dive bar.

Ugh- go spend your money somewhere else.

Save your money. Food was good but not worth the expensive price. Service was nice but inattentive and lacking conversation. Cool atmosphere and good location- we expected more especially after seeing the prices for regular ‘ol bar food.
REPLY TO OWNER: The food was neither high quality nor delicious. It was simply just good. So I figure by lowering your price on regular bar food, it isn’t going to sell anyone short. And for your staff, inattentiveness is unacceptable at any restaurant.

Nice chill spot. My husband and I went for the first time last night. Went during happy hour had the crab stuffed onion rings for an appy. Then he had salmon for dinner. I had his side salad and the soup of the day, chicken enchilada. Everything was excellent. Food. Bartenders. Prices were good. Also, u MUST try their signature espresso martini. Amazingly delicious. We will be back for sure.

Early dinner, service was great & friendly. Food options as expected were off season & somewhat limited but app (Loaded Nachos) & dinner (chicken Caesar salad & General 32 Chicken) was very good. Also had a decent beer selection as well.

We went to the Cellar after realizing that reservations are a must at many restaurants in the area in late April. We got seated about
5:45 on a Saturday. It was our Anniversary.
The Cellar Burger and fries were a large tasty entree. The beer and mix drinks were exceptional. The prices of the entrees were in the 30 and up range. We decided on the Burgers and drinks.
The decibel level of the crowd was crazy loud! Sit upstairs if you don’t want the noise. There is an upstairs area which was not open.
We sat at a table under the steps instead of the bar or high tops.
We enjoyed the band and it was an fun evening even though it was not our first choice.
