Always great service and great food! The best BBQ I’ve ever had! I never make a trip to Yoakum without stopping for a brisket sandwich. The meat is always juicy and has just the right amount of fat. A+++

Best barbecue we’ve had in a long time. Worth a detour on the way to San Antonio.Excellent example of Texas barbecue. Moderate is the keyword. He mixes his woods so it’s not mesquite harsh or hickory bland. It’s all moist and not too fatty. Ask for some of the char and you won’t even want to hide any of the flavors with barbecue sauce but the sauce is good. Vinegar-based and moderate. No mustard, brown sugar, hot peppers, etc. added. The couple in the picture eats there all the time. I think it’s probably consistently good.

THE RIBS!!! And including Mimi’s breakfast until 10:00! My go-to in Yoakum for great BBQ! We’ve pretty much had everything, and they do a great job with it all. Go early for the loaded baked potato though, very popular! And the lemonade…homemade and heavenly!

The brisket is juicy and good size portions for your money. The giblet rice could use some help but that’s not an easy dish to make so… . He doesn’t frown when I say “ and don’t trim the fat”. Lol

Good food. The sandwich combo is a good deal. It includes sandwich, side and drink. You can get a big baked potato with any meat you want. The shack blends into the junk shop next door, ignore the outside and get your food!

What a great place for their food and for the people. These wonderful people supplied a last minute funeral 2 briskets and lots of sausage with the trimmings. It was a highlight to most people on such a down day.

We called our order in and waited in the drive-thru for nearly 45 mins behind 3 vehicles. My niece had 40 mins for lunch from school. Wish more folks called ahead to help make the drive-thru go faster for everyone. Food is good, though!
