Found Calacas while working in the area and looking for something different for lunch. And it was fantastic. Juan’s hospitality was second to none and the food was excellent. The chips and salsa were delicious, the service was quick. My new favorite Mexican place. If you’re passing through Harvey around lunch or dinner, you need to stop in for some delicious food.

The food is hit & miss. The chili relleno I had was delicious, as were the chips, salsa and rice. The tamale was very dry, and the beans tasted off. The service is okay. The prices are on the higher side for portion sizes, and they charge a 3% fee to every bill (not just credit card bills.) So if you pay cash, you are still charged 3% on top of your regular check.

My husband and I absolutely love this resturant! The combination of flavors and textures are fantastic and always fresh! I would recommend the Fajita Steak Bowl, always my go to! They also offer cocktails, very refreshing!

My family and I arrived because we were traveling, and the food was excellent. The young waiter alex served us well, but the only bad thing was that an older waiter was bottling the sauce without gloves, which was somewhat unhygienic. But otherwise, it was great.

I went to Calacas for the first time and had lunch and very much enjoyed it so much so I went back for dinner! For dinner I had the ribeye with a margarita and churros for dessert. This place is one of the best restaurants in the area and I will definitely be going back.
