If you’re a donut lover, The Jelly Donut is an absolute must-visit! I’ve been to countless donut shops across the country during my travels, and this place has something truly special: their cinnamon roll bars (or “dog bones,” as the local high school kids call them). These are hands down some of the best pastries I’ve ever had—definitely in my top 5! They’re perfectly soft, with just the right amount of cinnamon sweetness. I loved them so much that after trying one, I went right back in and bought half a dozen more to share (and maybe keep a couple for myself).

The shop is spotless, with a perfect health inspection record—a rare and impressive feat that gave me complete confidence in their quality. On top of that, the owner is simply wonderful. She’s not only incredibly kind and welcoming, but you can tell she has a passion for what she does. Honestly, she’s like a donut magician, creating pastries that are worth every penny.

The value here is excellent for the quality and flavor. If you’re someone who appreciates a great donut and top-notch service, you won’t regret stopping by. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area. Do yourself a favor and try the “dog bones”—they might just change your life!

Fancied something sweet on my last night before heading back to England and found this place was still open. It was 9pm on a Saturday, but they were still open and had a reasonable choice of doughnuts. I got a classic, a chocolate ring and a butter bar. All were good, I’m sure they would be even better if I bought them earlier in the day when they were fresher! But still enjoyed them. Felt very classic American and I could tell they are all made fresh on site. Decent place!

I was in there today and I just want the owner to know that the way that she spoke to me is the exact reason why she doesn’t have quality employees. When you make someone change who they are to work for you compromises their whole self worth. No wonder you have a hard time keeping employees. Have the day you deserve the week you deserve , and the year you deserve. I have never gotten a donut that was bad there. If you treat employees like family, you’ll retain employees.Obviously you are a not very nice person to work for have a great day.

Opens at 4 am. Apple fritter is at least one of the best i have ever had. Bacon maple bar is smacking. Ham and cheese croissant isn’t just the worst I’ve ever it, it is one of the worst things I’ve ever had. It is not a buttery flaky croissant with yummy ham and cheddar in it. It is like a biscuit dough with thin sliced deli ham and what im pretty sure is processed American cheese product. Please go try heavenly sweets and treats for reference as to what these should taste like. You ruined my morning selling me this.

It has been a few years since I had eaten a donut from jelly donut and I wasn’t disappointed I had a maple bacon bar and an apple fritter. The maple bacon bar had bacon in every bite it was amazing most places just put 1 rash on the donut and it comes off with the first bite and all you have left is maple. The jelly donut puts bacon crumbles on it which gave the perfect salty to sweet ratio. The apple fritter was huge but had cooled down long before I got to eat it and I can’t give it a fair shake. It was good and jelly donut is one of the few places that actually has them in town its very much appreciated. My daughter got a raspberry frosting donut which was really delicious and not too sweet. My wife got a cream filled donut that had coconut cream inside and chocolate with almond slices on top she was pretty impressed with the blend of flavors but it was really sweet.

Donut selection looks really good. I only had 1 Cinnamon twist donut, so Food rating is only 3-stars, for now.
I think $2.25 for a simple $1 donut is a little expensive.
I admit I’m probably out of touch from the current, local donut prices.
Not sure about fritter or dozen pricing.
I plan to go back soon for a better sample.

Donuts were okay.
The biggest issue that happened on two separate occasions was the guy behind the register starts mopping the floor with the strongest smelling chemical cleaner I’ve smelt in a long time.
Just don’t know why they need to be cleaning during business hours.
When I asked if I could open the door for some fresh air, I was told we couldn’t due to store policy.

Donuts were stale and tasted like old grease. There are much better donut shops in town.
