I had such a fantastic experience at Thai Basil! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and generous portions. Everything came out hot and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Thai Basil to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine.

We had our dinner here on Halloween. Food was delicious. However the service was a bit rough. Our server seemed unfriendly, stacking side plates in the corner and instructing us to help ourselves .

Only at the end after we paid the bill she had a smile and asked the kids about their trick or treat.

We went in by 8:45 pm, but still we don’t want to see an unhappy face serving us.

One of the best restaurants to eat in the Suwanee/Johns Creek area. Staff are always kind no matter how busy it is, and service is usually quick too. We got the Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai, which was very delicious, but a lot of the items on the menu also looked very delicious too. 10/10, would recommend.

Beautiful restaurant – really clean interior, modern, and appealing! Nicely lit. You could dine in here or sit on their nicely appointed patio. But… we all know Thai food is also great takeout!

Their Pad Thai is easily some of the best I’ve had. If you like to feel the heat, ask for EXTRA spicy because they held back a little. 😉 the drunken noodles were delicious. Great flavors.

I would return here any time!

Update: our food was good, especially the Pad Kra Pow and 1924 Cabernet. The water though, tastes bad.

Update: Service on Friday night was much slower and our server less pleasant. That said, the menu is more extensive than I remembered and the food was still good.

The panang curry is excellent. The spicy catfish was also good.

Wow, I can’t believe I waited so long to try this restaurant. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere wonderful, and the service super pleasant. They have an excellent outdoor patio that I will give a try next time.

Loved the food, they had good vegetarian options too. We went for a ladies dinner and had so much fun. We ordered the tamarind drink which was unique and delicious. The pineapple fried rice is pretty popular too.

We tried this place a few weeks ago, and we loved it then. So we came back.
This time we got here when they just opened. It was quiet but pleasant. Our appetizer came in fast but our drinks took a little too long, but it was worthy.
The chicken Pad Thai was so delicious, I do like it better with lime and when I asked the server, she brought us a bunch of them unlike many other restaurants. The sauce of my Pad Thai was so delicious.
The fried rice was also very good. Not salty at all. Had a lot of chicken too.
In general food is very good. The taste, the amount, everything. We even took some leftovers home.
Peach, our server was very nice and kind, attentive. The best we have had so far.

Delectable Thai cuisine and a casual atmosphere. Mixed drinks were unique and inviting. Generous portions for each meal.

Red curry(in the picture) is always my go-to, but the larb, ginger, and massamun curry were flavorful too. The red curry was on the sweeter side with a good deal of spice.

Server was polite and very attentive.

PROs – ambience, location, interiors, many food items were good, price
CONs – Serviceeeee, Veg food

First timer.. was craving thai food and went to this restaurant. Actually when we entered , it wasnt that packed. only a couple of tables had customers. Service could have been better. Someone took orders right half of the table and didnt ask the other half of table. half table got drinks while other half was waitng. We tried calling them multiple times, but they kept saying “im not assigned to this table” .. atlast after 10-15 mins everyone in the table their drinks. price was ok.. not that expensive. They have a full fledged bar with some decent collection of beers .

Food was ok. pad thai was really good. the noodles was a bit thick but it tasted good. vegetarian friend rice was OK. vegatarian food overall was average. Fried tofu was good . satay was good , and soup was also ok. we just loved the fried ice creams to finish things off. that was our favorite. overall a good experience with food, and service could have been better.
