I love First Watch! We were so happy when they opened one in Jefferson City – now we don’t have so far to drive to get to one. The food is excellent. I’ve tried several different items and have not found a single thing that wasn’t awesome! Today was Floridian French toast!
Still love it! We had the Chile horizon omelet and strawberry tres leches French toast. Heaven on a fork!
Back today… 2/13/2026. Had the same as last time because it is SO good!!

Nice breakfast brunch and lunch spot in jefferson city missouri. Id heard of the chain from videos online for several years in Florida and other states but had never been. Found out there was on in Jefferson City Missouri and on a trip visiting family I had to try it out.
I ordered the avocado toast with 2 “basted” eggs. They eggs were perfectly runny like I like them. The toast was nice and plenty of avocado. I was really hoping for the price that there would at least be 2 small pieces of round sourdough bread or something else rather than a single square slice of wheat bread cut diagonally. A single slice isnt all that much in terms of food or presentation. I also thought it was missing some everything bagel seasoning and arugula, those additions would have made the avocado toast much better!
We also got he double bacon parmesan hash which was also very good and with better presentation. It was really rich though so maybe get a power bowl or lighter option if you dont want something so heavy.
The staff was nice and good service. They leave a coffee thermos on your table with regular or decaf so you can fill a few cups yourself before asking for a refill.
Overall nice brunch spot and there are several things on the menu I saw others order that I want to try later.

This is my third time visiting the Jefferson City location and I enjoyed my visit but was slightly disappointed. The atmosphere is light, joyous, and fosters a welcoming environment. Love the healthier options especially the Banana Granola pancake with million dollar bacon, it is my favorite. My only concern is that nobody from management came to speak with me after I had an issue with a part of my meal and had to have it replaced. The staff is friendly and prompt. The establishment feels clean and has good temperature regulation; bring a light jacket for the anemic.

First Watch was the perfect brunch spot! Delicious meals with large portions and good prices. Cozy atmosphere and great service. I ordgered the bacon parmasean hash, a chocolate chip pancake, and a pomegranate sunrise, which were all delicious! (see pictures)

Serving sizes were pretty big. Eggs Benedict classic and potato’s is great if you like runny eggs? We love them. Million dollar bacon is sweet and spicy. Bloody Mary’s have a nice kick and Monterey sandwich is delicious. Our server was right on with everything and gave great service!!! Will be back!

I visited for the first time today. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious and our service from Alexandria was fantastic but it was so loud I could barely hold a conversation with my friend. I’ll try another time when not so busy.

Extremely disappointing experience at First Watch – Jefferson City. I ordered the French Toast and they made me wait over an hour for something that should take a few minutes. No updates, no apology, nothing. The service was honestly terrible.
When the food finally arrived, the quantity didn’t match the price at all. For what they charge, the serving was unbelievably small and definitely not worth the money. The quality didn’t justify the wait or the price either.
Overall, this was a complete waste of time and money. Poor service, slow kitchen, and overpriced portions. I’m not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values their time or their money.

Food was wonderful, service was snappy, and the atmosphere was that modern farmhouse feel everyone loves right now! Robin was the sweetest most patient person as a waitress, will ask for her everytime I go back! She knew the menu and even had great recommendations! Iced coffee with caramel drizzle, 2 eggs, and biscuit and gravy with million dollar bacon, solid. Potatoes were there, had ketchup and Cholula at the table, but expected them to be greay om their own and they were just kinda..there. Overall, worth a try, something JCMO really needed in town!

The food, service, and environment were amazing, especially for how crowded it was! The staff was attentive, kind and super quick with getting my order to me. I got the Floridian French Toast and I loved every bite, the orange juice was fresh and the kitchen overall did awesome. I will definitely be getting breakfast here again!
