Had our 4th Wedding Anniversary Lunch at 22 Prime today and this place is low-key exquisite and refined. Top 3 on our list is the Prime Ribeye (Must have with Truffle Cream sauce), Seafood Fennel Soup (Awakening blend of sour kick of fresh Tomatoe-based soup and salmon, shrimp & mussels) and Truffle Mac & Cheese. Baked Oysters with Lumpfish Caviar is a close one as part of the Top Choices and reflects this steakhouse’s years of experience on quality and freshness. Seafood Risotto as expected is a savory bomb with the hint of ocean flavor. Just a caution on ordering from the menu the Baked Oyster, Steak with Truffle Sauce and Truffle Mac & Cheese all at the same time as to not get yourself overloaded. Considering we also had Garlic Roasted Potatoes and Strawberry Mango Iced Tea, Brewed Coffee and a bottle Pellegrino for our drinks. Price point and total bill was indeed value for money (We only spent so much because there was a lot to try and it was worth it). And since it’s our anniversary, we got a slice of Salted Caramel Cheesecake as a complimentary dessert. It was a perfect blend of creamy sweetness with a kick of saltiness to cap off our lunch. Highly recommended to try this place. You won’t even regret sharing about it your family and friends.

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary. My husband tried the unlimited steak. I tried steak from the grill & ordered baked oyster. The food is superb even the dessert can’t resist.

Food, especially the steak, was amazing. Melt in your mouth goodness. Heard they’ll be offering Matsusaka Beef soon too, so definitely worth going here if you’re willing to spend on great quality meat. Even the sides were delicious. Our server Hazel was so attentive and helpful, and we appreciate how warm Executive Chef Albee was to us too. Lunch is a great time to be here for the quiet atmosphere! Looking forward to our next visit.

Great experience! The steaks were perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy but upscale. Worst steak I’ve had in years (Christmas Day lunch ruined), and completely unacceptable for a Tatler-listed steakhouse at ₱2,150+.

The 350g T-bone arrived poorly executed: no proper sear, cosmetic cross-hatch grill marks, and visibly unrendered fat. The cut was unusually thin for a steakhouse, making matters worse. Medium-rare was requested, but it was clearly overcooked—closer to medium-well—with no red centre. The steak was dry and not juicy. See photos, before and after cutting.

When shown to the waiter (cut only once) and returned to the kitchen, the chef allegedly insisted it was medium-rare because it was cooked at the “correct temperature,” which makes no sense given the visible doneness. Even the waiter acknowledged it was not red in the centre.

Other food was also poor: ribs were tough, mahi fillet dry and overcooked, and the French onion soup was slightly salty.

Service was weak despite the restaurant being nearly empty at lunch (only 2 tables including mine), and the ambience felt dated and uninviting—more like dining beside an aging hotel function room than a premium steakhouse. First impressions were poor, with hotel guests sitting on the entrance steps.

At this price and reputation level, this experience fell far short.

Tried the unlimited ribeye steak. I just hope rhey are consistent with the serving. The meat was thick for the first order. But when we ordered again, the steak was almost half of the first one. But I love all the side dishes. And staff were attentive and helpful.

I was super happy to dine at 22 Prime.

Before our visit, I booked a reservation and the process was smooth and quick. It was confirmed the same day (or maybe the next) during office hours by Kris, who handled it very efficiently. I mentioned that it was going to be my birthday and requested a window seat. Unfortunately, it was too sunny that day, but Archie kindly suggested transferring us to a less sunny area instead. I really appreciated his initiative and loved the table he prepared for us.

This visit was extra special for me because I used to be an intern at 22 Prime back in early 2020, just a few weeks before the lockdown. Returning as a guest this time brought back so many memories. The place is still as clean and welcoming as I remember, and the staff are just as friendly.

It felt very different being on the other side, being served instead of serving. I had to stop myself from helping out since I’m used to assisting guests and filling their water glasses. This time, Archie and Cess took great care of us. Their service was warm, attentive, and professional.

The food was excellent, too. My favorites were the potato casserole and the soup of the day (which I believe was pumpkin soup with a hint of bell pepper). Everything was flavorful and comforting.

I also really enjoyed the complimentary drink and cake, they made the experience even more special. It was such a thoughtful surprise.

I don’t usually celebrate my birthday (I tend to spend the day resting or sleeping) but this year, I decided to do something different. I went with my friends, who are also my business partners, and I’m so glad I did. It was such a memorable day.

I felt genuinely cared for by everyone, especially Archie, Cess, and the manager (who, funnily enough, used to be my boss during my internship).

It would’ve been nice to see more familiar faces, but I was happy to recognize at least one from before.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Great food, great service, and so many good memories.

Thank you, 22 Prime, for making my birthday special.

We celebrated our 1st year anniversary here. Really good food, ambiance, and service. We were attended by Lyca and she’s very attentive. She’s very polite and very proactive in asking and giving us what we need. She even gave us a complimentary cake for our celebration. A really great experience. We’ll definitely go back.
