Thought we would try something new, as we love authentic Mexican. The food was ‘ok’ nothing outstanding. The service was was bad, real bad. The young lady who seated us was nice and waiting on like 4 other tables. We had 3 different people wait on us. They didnt take our drink order until we were half way through our spicy salsa and chips. The Seafood Taco Boat was good (pic below). I got it without veggies. We also ordered the Philly Cheese steak quesadila and it was just steak and onions in a tortilla. No one ever came back to check on us. We had to track down a waiter for our bill. It was like a circus with waiters bouncing table to table. Unorganized and not worth the money.

We haven’t been in awhile so I was eagerly excited to go. Me and my husband loves this place. But this visit was different. 8 ordered the birria tacos and was disappointed, no flavor no spice. Hardly any onions and cilantro. The portion sizes had changed as well. It was very lackluster. My husband was disappointed in his meal as well. The rice and beans was the best part of my meal and that is saying alot. And even the lovely lady servers we usually have wasn’t there.

I want to like this place, I used to like this place and gave it another chance tonight. The food was fine. I ordered a combo with an enchilada and taco, nothing super exciting but it was fine. It’s the service for me, they used to be so friendly and accommodating with lovely wait staff. The waiter tonight acted like he was bothered and didn’t want to be bothered, (3 tables total.) About half way through the meal our waiter switched to another man, who maybe is the owner or manager. He was very kind. We did have to track him down for the bill. On the way out, our original waiter, was behind the register and said goodbye, but could not take his eyes of what he was watching on his device. I am just used to the outstanding customer service that used to be the norm here. I will try it again just to see if it was an off night.

Expe is the very best server! She is always pleasant, friendly, & attentive. I’ve tried several items from the menu, and the food is amazing every time I go. I also love that the staff never makes me feel rushed to get through my meal and leave. It really allows me to enjoy the whole experience of dining there.

I was hungry and thought a family-owned restaurant would be a better choice than a chain, and WOW! I was right! My fella and I both got street taco entrees. My carnitas, shrimp, and chicken tacos were all delicious. The rice and beans on the side were also wonderful, I would love to eat a bowl of those beans!! We didn’t partake, but the mixed drinks served to other tables had VERY impressive presentation.
I will gladly eat here again when I’m in the area!!
