A kind waiter seated us without reservation. Atmosphere is nice.

The platter was good. The snapper was very bad. No taste (no salt/pepper. No lemon. No herbs no nothing) and its belly was not cleaned. Served with rice mixed with ham? When you think a fish dish, you don’t want to see meat in that plate.

They forgot to bring my drink .

For $100, I’d expect a better service and great quality food.

I love southern cooking and was excited to try out this fusion of European with a south Louisiana influence.

The Good:
Loved how they poured you a small taster of sparkling wine when you sit, that was a unique touch.
We arrived early and they were able to get us seated right away.
The waiter was very personable.
Wife loved her espresso martini, and I was happy with their selection of wines.
The cup of gumbo was absolutely delicious!

The Bad:
We tried the caprese appetizer and while it was fine, what was served just didn’t warrant the cost of $14 (and this was the happy hour price), though other dishes seemed to be more appropriately priced.
The service had gaps, but there was a noticeably long wait between the appetizer/soup and when the entrees arrived. So much so the waiter made a lighthearted joke about it after the fact. The atmosphere is relaxed though, and not a place you would really visit if you were in a rush, so it was forgivable and we never felt totally neglected.

The Ugly:
We were told we had to try the Chateau Briand, so both of us ordered it. While each was cooked to perfection, it had been salted beyond ruin. It would have been no different if someone had physically rolled the meat through a pile of salt before cooking it. I’m talking physical discomfort after the fact. I don’t know if this was an accident in the kitchen or what, but both of us agreed it was borderline inedible. The potatoes, tomatoes, and accompanying sauce were all incredible though, and had the steak not been over seasoned it would have been 5 out of 5. We would have considered sending it back to try something else had it not taken 45+ mins to arrive at our table.

It’s hard not to provide a harsh rating when the main course was a thumbs down, but we otherwise enjoyed the experience and would likely try other entrees in the future and amend our review if the experience improved.

Lucky was such an amazing server! She always made sure we had everything we needed and more. I ordered a ginger martini, carnivore charcuterie board, and the steelhead trout. Everything tasted phenomenal. We will absolutely be back.

We had such a great experience at Nolias! We went for the NYE tasting menu, the food was amazing. The service was BEYOND!!!! All of the staff was amazing and a special shout out to Armando for being so attentive. The whole vibe in Nolias is wonderful, from the art work to the plants all around. There was an amazing DJ playing both acoustic guitar and singing as well as mixing music. All around, such an amazing night.

Such a fantastic experience with great food, I will definitely be coming back!! The house manager greeted us at the door and checked in on us several times. My spouse and I were celebrating my birthday, and the staff left a very thoughtful birthday card on our table with all of the staff’s signatures! ❤️❤️ Such a touching thoughtful gesture!!

All the food was DELICIOUS!!! My favorite was definitely the blackberry flatbread, they for sure sent out the best for last. The gumbo (jambalaya? I forget which one) was seasoned and spiced so perfectly, and I’ve never had a crab cake this good in Denver before. Highly recommend, definitely get a reservation.

Went for restaurant week and had a wonderful meal. The duck is delicious and I will dream about the tortellini! They also have a unique and affordable wine list. I think our server was new – the owner or manager kept checking in to make sure everything was ok. Only suggestion is I wish they would have slowed things down – the every course came while we were still working on the previous one. Loved the atmosphere- felt like we were in a little bistro in Europe. Cozy, well decorated and quiet. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely stellar service from Lindsey! While traveling I was looking for a place to decompress and have a lowkey evening, and Nolia did not disappoint. From the first drink to the last bite, my experience was perfect, and the bartender, Lindsey, provided phenomenal service the entire time.

This review is a bit delayed, and I went back and forth about posting it or not. I decided to have my birthday dinner here with 6 of my friends to celebrate after receiving rave reviews from another friend. I made a reservation in advance and I arrived first and was sat very quickly. All of my friends arrived after me.

After I was sat I was not greeted by a server for about 10 min. The restaurant wasn’t terribly busy. When I was finally greeting by a server, I asked about wine selection and inquired if they had any Portuguese wines. I received a very not well hidden eye roll and a no. After that, no one approached my table until about 30 minutes after I arrived.

At this point, everyone in the party had arrived. The same server approached the table and asked to take our drink order. He seemed a bit impatient with us and was a bit rude even though we were polite and courteous. We also ordered a charcuterie board for the table to share while we decided on what to order for dinner.

The drinks and board arrive and the board was extremely underwhelming. I used to work for a charcuterie company and I was a bit shocked at the quality vs price. There were peanuts on it, very little meat and cheese and hardly any fruit. I have never seen a charcuterie board prepared with peanuts, which is literally the cheapest “nut” there is.

We are all ready to place our dinner orders and no one checks on us or takes our dinner orders for about an hour after we are all sat down. We literally felt ignored. Another server finally approached us to take our dinner orders and said that he would be taking over for the other server because he had “been here all day and needed to go home.”

Thinking that maybe this server had a better demeanor, I confided in him that we were there to celebrate my birthday and we were having a pretty bad experience so far. Instead of empathizing, he gaslights me and says “Okay. Do you want me to get a car full of clowns and balloons and have them sing to you?!” I am not sure if he was attempting to be humorous, but read the room my guy. Everyone’s jaw dropped at the table at his response. I wish I could say the experience with this server improved, but it just continued to get worse. To the point where I had to ask my friends if I was going crazy regarding how we were being treated. When I went to use the restroom I even heard him talking bad about us in the back of the house to his coworkers. We also suspect that he had been drinking on the job as well. There were many more issues, but this review is already pretty lengthy.

It was, hands down, the WORST dining experience I have ever had, let alone on my birthday. I don’t expect a red carpet or preferential treatment just because it’smy birthday, but some decent customer service and kindness would have gone a long way. I used to be a server, so I understand that things happen sometimes. There was zero excuse for this behavior.

Additionally, the food overall was okay, but nothing mind blowing and it was definitely way overpriced for what we got. I don’t remember everything but only one dish stood out that was really good, which is the one that’s pictured.

The ONLY saving grace was the kindness shown to us by Kali at the end of the night, who I think is an assistant manager. She was absolutely wonderful, apologized profusely after we told her about all the issues we encountered and gave our table a discount (I don’t know how much because my friends wouldn’t let me pay for anything).

Bottom line, I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back. If I wanted to be treated so terribly, I would call my ex and I wouldn’t have to pay for it.

Had a great time at Nolia. A bunch of different plates were ordered to share and honestly everything was really good. The butter-seared tiger shrimp & grits, Louisiana crab cakes, and the truffle & mushroom cannelloni were the favorites. The seasonal burrata was a perfect start, and the warm mixed olives & almonds were great to snack on while everything came out. We also built and customized a charcuterie board, and it was awesome having so many options to mix and match. The drinks were great as well. The inside is beautiful and cozy and the whole place just feels really put together. The service was awesome and our server Lucky was great. Definitely coming back.

I am grateful that we decided to come out to try Nolia. We will be back again! The restaurant is a little smaller than I expected, but had some great seating outside. The staff were friendly and everyone had great things to say about the food.

We started with blackberry flatbread, it was excellent, sweet and had great flavor 10/10. We also had the gumbo, which was good 7.5/10, also flavorful. We had both the Caesar 9/10 and pear salad 8.5/10. I really thought the dressing on the pear salad was wonderful. For side dishes we had the green chile cornbread, with really great cream cheese 8/10, it was a little dry but had great flavor. The carrots were another winner, paired well with the goat cheese 10/10. For the entrees my partner had the short rib bolognese 7.5/10 and I had the crab stuffed rainbow trout special 8.5/10. For dessert we had both the cannolis 8/10 and the winter spiced carrot cake 9/10. The carrot cake was a better dessert and we loved the cream cheese that was on it. If there was any drawback it was that the cake felt a little dry but the topping helped with that.

All in all it was a great meal. We are very happy with our choice to come here. Our meal took a long time, we were there over 2 hours. The place was empty when we arrived but got filled up as the evening moved on. It took a long time for our entrees close to 45 minutes, but I am not going to hold that against them. The service was friendly but they could have come over a little more frequently.

We look forward to coming back again soon.
