Texas Roadhouse is pretty much what you’d expect from a large steakhouse chain. The food was solid and consistent with the brand, and the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Overall, the meal met expectations.
Where the experience fell short was the service and the atmosphere. Our waiter didn’t seem particularly interested in our table, which was surprising considering we had a party of seven. With a group that size, you’d think there would be a bit more attention and effort to make sure everything was taken care of.
The other big issue was the music. It was extremely loud, so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you, let alone someone across the table. A more reasonable volume would make the dining experience much more enjoyable.
I would have happily given this place 5 stars if the service had been more attentive and the music volume had been toned down. Tighten up the wait staff and turn the music down a bit, and this could easily be a great experience.
Before visiting, it might also be worth taking a look at some of the more recent reviews to set expectations.

Our server so quick! Even though the place was packed he kept our drink refilled and checked on us regularly. Food was perfect. Atmosphere was loud but kinda added to the vibe?

TRH has a great reputation for delicious steaks at a reasonable price. It’s for the every day Joe. We go several times a month. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The bread or rolls (first thing out) is amazing. Don’t eat too much as you won’t have room for dinner. The steaks and other entrees are cooked to your liking by a perfectionist chef. It’s amazing. They always get it right.
The restaurant is a little noisy, but that’s because it’s always packed and busiest during dinner rush. Nevertheless, it’s worth the wait. Waiters and waitresses sing and dance on special occasions, so don’t be surprised when the ruckus begins. It’s a fun, but loud restaurant. Love this place.

We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and just had 3 of us at 2 pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy, but the server did come over quickly and took our order. We ordered 2 medium steaks and chicken, and my daughter ordered a frosted lemonade.. 15 minutes later, still no meals, no lemonade, and the waiter had disappeared. I went and got another basket of rolls from the front that were somewhat burnt. When both steaks arrived, they were well done, not medium. My wife ate half of hers, and the manager took mine back. I ate my potato while waiting 10 minutes for the new steak. At that point, the lemonade my daughter ordered half an hour ago arrived. No price adjustments, just a verbal apology on the steak. The last set of rolls were burnt too. The waiter had said this was the best Texas roadhouse in Utah County, which scares me to go to any other restaurant

The overall service was great . My server was awesome. The only thing I was not very happy with was I ordered a 8 oz sirloin steak and shrimp The steak was fine but the shrimps were not cooked very much at all . I took a bite of one and spit it out I could tell right away it was raw . A

Had a great meal once again. We had to mix up with our order but things happened nobody’s perfect. They haven’t looked very well. I just wish it wasn’t so loud really to the point where it’s uncomfortable sometimes. I would dine here more often if it wasn’t for the noise level. My son’s autistic so it’s even worse for him. Don’t know why you have to play the music like it’s a club lol

I went on Sunday, February 15th, in the evening. We ordered three dishes, and there was a hair in my salad. I told the waitress, she took the salad away and brought me another one, but I didn’t feel like eating it anymore. On another plate, there was a packet of hand wipes, but it was hidden underneath the ribs I ordered, all wet because of the bbq sauce and I almost ate it. It was the most unpleasant experience. I will never come back here.

Up until today, we’ve always enjoyed our experiences at this Texas Roadhouse location. My wife ordered the ribeye steak, and it was one of the most tough and chewy steaks either of us had ever tried period. Next, I found a hair in my mashed potatoes! It was disgusting, and I felt nauseated. When we told the manager about it, he apologized and said he would credit us the side of mashed potatoes. What?! A whole side. Wow. My wife said she believed we shouldn’t have to pay for the meal, but he told us he was already refunding her steak. Is this what the service industry has come to? I certainly hope not. Needless to say, this experience alone has inspired us to take our business elsewhere. We invite whoever reads this to reach out and try to do a better job of making this right. Either way, I intend to post how this plays out in a month.

I had been looking forward to a nice rare prime rib dinner, for weeks!
Since they had just opened up, I asked the waiter if the prime rib was ready yet. He said that it was… I was so excited to hear it.
I ordered my prime rib rare… no butt piece, not med rare but rare.
The baked potato wasn’t ready and my rare prime rib was med rare and that was the most rare piece they had!
Since I had been waiting so long for a prime rib, I told the waiter that I’d try it…
I keep telling myself not to make do if they don’t have what you order!
In the past, the manager would walk around and check to see if everything was OK…but not today!
Upon leaving, the waiter said if the prime rib was ok. I told him that it wasn’t and that I was very disappointed! All he could do was shrug his shoulders.
I should have saved the money and had a salad instead… I don’t like salads that much!
