Enjoyed a great Friday evening in the neighborhood. Food was great service from Daniel, Sage and Peter was excellent. Peter very attentive and great personality. Good drinks and good to know specials are available. Looking forward to returning.

Don’t hesitate going to Backstage Tap and Grill! It did not disappoint! A total gem for Lansdowne! Beautiful décor, warm and welcoming staff, and incredible food — from the crispy pork egg rolls to the fresh mozzarella with peaches and perfectly cooked shrimp. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented.
The bartenders Daniel and Will made us feel right at home, and it’s exciting to see a spot serving delicious Pennsylvania-made drinks in what was once a dry town. We left already planning our next visit — this place is something special!

The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked per request. Homemade chips were very good as well. Beet salad was tasty, but for an entrée was small and beats were tasty but cut paper thin and just not enough of them (was nicer but had mixed it up before taking the pic). Our server Chelsea was very friendly and did a great job! Chocolate lava cake with ice cream, strawberries and mint was a perfect ending to our meal. Two specialty cocktails were great and right on par with flavor. Suggestions: Little things like when you seat two people, remove the other two settings at the table. Knowing that the restaurant was empty since it had just opened, don’t sit two people with a conversation next to a party that would be coming in when there are so many other options in the room. These are just very small things that could be improved to a very nice experience. We will definitely be back!

Shout out to Devyn(hopefully spelled correctly) for providing amazing service from the moment we sat down. I will always give an honest review when we love the food, drinks and service. The interior is inviting with a cozy pub feel. .The bar is spacious and filled tge entire time we were there. We dined in with reservations. Reservations are recommended. The appetizer menu offers multiple options for all dietary. We had the wings and roast pork egg rolls. Wings 10/10 crispy and coated with a sweet and savory sauce, , egg rolls were crispy, not greasy, the roast pork was seasoned. 10/10. The options are plentiful for entrees. There are handheld, salads, entrees. I wanted something light so I ordered the Backstage chicken sandwich comes w smoked bacon, frizzzled onions, arugula, tomato, bbq sauce and cheddar cheese on a brioche bun. The grilled chicken not dry. Every bite was packed with flavor. I am usually disappointed with homemade chips because they’re usually overcooked and burnt. I took a chance and these chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our other entree short rib, mashed potatoes and asparagus.. 10/10 short rib was tender, well-swasojed, mash got rave reviews. For we ordered a glass of Rose and A Tough to follow cocktail w bourbon and whiskey. Other alcoholic beverages includes canned beer, soda, cider, lemonade and iced tea, selection of wines, vodka, tequila, and speciality cocktails. All of the speciality cocktails names are show titles or theater related phrases. There are dessert cocktails and mocktails. Cocktsils are reasonably priced. The restaurant sources ingredients locally and the spirits from Blue Bird. We passed on dessert included cheesecake, tiranusu, chocolate lava cake. Definitely, will return. Thanks Deyn for adding more chips to my to-go container.

Amazing Treasure in Lansdowne! Absolutely recommend going. This tap & grille is just starting out and I can see so much potential. Only downside is that it is on the pricier side, but the quality of food and service is on par with that. I was just hoping it would be more of a everyday frequenting price rather than a date night.
Smoked Mozzarella was amazing. My favorite thing. This will be a staple everytime I go along with the Dill Lemonade!!
Drunken Shrimp was very very good. Loved the sauce but I prefer my shrimp a little bit softer.
Crab Cakes were Very Very good. But I am preferential to jumbo lump crab.
Mac’N’Cheese was solid but nothing very original.
Cheesecake was Divine!! My stomach was already so full and I only meant to take a taste, but couldn’t stop eating it. It is BIG! I absolutely needed to share with someone.

Absolutely amazing!! We just went in to check out the menu of the new spot in town, but immediately decided we needed to sit down and eat some of the food right away. We ordered four appetizers to share for the two of us, rather than any entrees, so that we could try several different things. The Grilled Peach Burrata was like nothing I’ve ever eaten before – it was such a unique combination of flavors, so delicious, and plated beautifully! The Smoked Mozzarella was the best combination of cheese and vegetables I’ve ever had, and the display was gorgeous. The Backstage Wings were the best wings I’ve ever had and they tasted so different from any other wings, I will be thinking about these wings forever. The Roast Pork Eggrolls were the best eggrolls I’ve ever had and I had no idea how great eggrolls could be, plus the sauce with it was perfect. The staff were all super nice and all worked together to serve us, plus the owners came out and made sure we liked everything. We LOVED the food and can’t wait to eat there again!!

Valentines Specials Update!! Came back after brunch (cuz we were still in the area after perusing estate sales) and decided to try the Branzino Special they had advertised and WOW, it was SO TENDER, BUTTERY, AND PERFECTLY SEASONED!!! A MUST TRY!! Came w Farro and Broccolini both excellent texture and seasoning. I do wish I had tried the Lobster Ravs AND the Imperial Filet special, as I saw both come out several times, and they looked and smelled amazing.
UPDATE: THEY NOW SERVE BRUNCH!! 11-3PM!! Tried the short rib hash, was a beautiful blend of smoky savory short rib, sunny up egg added a creamy delicious touch to the perfectly crispy, diced potatoes and minced bell peppers!! (NOT a share size plate, heads up! ) Wings were slamming as usual; and Benedict Chesapeake was coming out looking soooo good: getting it next time!! Well done, guys, and excellent friendly welcoming service as always! Chef Dan is killing it over here!! ❤️
What a cool, laid back atmosphere with surprisingly ample high end cocktails and entrees at very reasonable prices for the premium quality!! Started out w a Conshy brewing hazy IPA, which complimented the incredible smoky, juicy dry rub wings!! Then came the gorgeous, tender juicy pork chop, (which we cleaned to the BONE!!) accompanied by the softest, sweetest corn bread (practically a corn cake! It was SO GOOD w that honey glaze!!) as well as hearty roasted veggies, akin to a ratatouille or succatash? DELISH!! We split the cleverly designed street corn cobb salad, (all my fave things in one dish!) and perfect size for one hungry or two to share! Also, had to try the mac n cheese, of course! Added the braised short rib, which wasn’t fatty, and had lots of nice char and flavor, but still very tender! Nice creamy cheese sauce, I did need to add a lil salt/pepper, so if you don’t like too much sodium this your dish! Overall, food was great, cant wait to try some more dishes, and will DEF be getting the WINGS and porkchop again!!! Great beers and wonderful service and atmosphere, welcome to the neighborhood; I highly recommend!!

We came a little late so it wasn’t to crowded. Our server was Chelsea she very knowledgeable about the menu,very attentive and cool as hell! The decor is nice kinda and inviting bathrooms were clean which is a big plus for me.
The food was excellent!!! The wings were crispy and had great flavor I also had the charred cease salad and seafood bisque all phenomenal!! We met the chef Vont,great guy! He took all my requests especially about my wings and listened. The drinks were delicious also I had a rum cocktail (can’t remember the name) but it was definitely yummy.

This newly opened Pub in Lansdowne did not disappoint. The wings were hands down the best wings I’ve ever ate. They were served with blue cheese and hot sauce but didn’t need either. Crispy and seasoned to perfection.

The menu is standardly priced for small similar sit down restaurants in and around Philly.
The drinks were good, you can buy standard or interesting craft cocktails.
We ordered the kids pizza (excellent), wings (dry rubbed and had great crunch), and burgers (cooked correctly and the flavors were good). We had a few drinks and our kiddo ordered cheesecake which was obviously homemade and delicious!
We cannot wait to go back.
