I can’t give 5 stars because the coffee, while decent, is not excellent, and the prices are for ‘excellent’ coffee.
My opinion on what could make a higher quality cup: the espresso gets burnt, and choosing a local shop over Starbies is usually to have espresso that isn’t burnt.
There is a bit of a wait no matter the time of your visit, roughly 10 minutes, but this isn’t a dealbreaker for me.
FUN PIECE: I advise the oatmeal cookies, they’re unique to this shop and deliciously refreshing.

While returning home from Riverview, I was in need of a coffee, so I searched for nearby options and came across Foxtail Coffee. I decided to make a quick stop for a coffee pickup.
As soon as I entered, I was impressed by the welcoming ambiance, with people enjoying their coffee and working in a cozy environment. The café had a relaxing vibe, making it a perfect place.
From the variety of coffee options available, I ordered a Regular Caffè Latte. The service was quick, and I was soon back on my way home with my drink in hand. The coffee was delicious, well-made with fresh beans, and had just the right amount of sweetness, making it a perfect choice for me.
I thoroughly enjoyed both the coffee and the ambiance of Foxtail Coffee.

Oh man, what a cool coffee shop. Beautiful long bar as you walk in, feels like a speakeasy of sorts but then you talk to a super welcoming barista who happily takes your order and it feels like a place you’ve been to many times before. I wish I lived closer to this place so I could come hereregularly, if you love a good latte or Cortado or flat white, then get here immediately.

I thought it’d be nice to try out Foxtail as there’s one near me and it’d be nice to frequent a place that isn’t “that one big chain” that we all know. I was really happy with the experience. The service was excellent! The staff were very friendly.
I tried a latte, a breakfast sandwich, and a piece of pastry. Everything was good, especially my latte.
This location (I haven’t tried others) is a little narrow as it’s in a strip mall type building, but that can’t be helped. There was one four person table and a few chairs by themselves by the window, two person tables down the side, with a bar type table mounted to the wall in the back.

I became a regular here around a month ago after a bad experience with Starbs and it’s become my little ritual. I LOVE all of the baristas- they’re always so sweet and conversational- and my drink always comes out perfect! Special shoutout to Madalyn, she’s so sweet and takes the time to get to know you and even writes cutie little notes on your cup which makes the experience feel that much more personalized. Customer service SPECIFICALLY this location is always top tier. But this is my all time favorite coffee shop I’ve gone to at least 5 different locations and it never misses. It’s more affordable, and tastes way better than any other place I’ve been to. I’m a loyal fan shoutout to Riverview location on 301 though they always are super nice and make the best coffee out of all the ones I’ve been to, you can feel the good vibes. The coffee is delicious and the staff are great.
Much calmer atmosphere than other coffee shops.
As for price, the latte I had was about as much as I would pay at most other places but I enjoyed the flavor a lot more.
The pastries look wonderful and will be back to try them out.
