We went for my birthday with my family. As soon as we arrived we we happily greated by a friendly staff. The sushi was super freah and the dinners were a delight we had the habichi entree i had shrimp with side scallops. The soup was just right not too salty and vey flavorful. The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection not rubbery or hard and the flavor was incredible. We highly recommend coming here.

Really enjoyed I Sushi House! The food was really good, the staff was super friendly, and they gave me a super nice, high-quality bag for my food to go—which I’m definitely saving and reusing. I’ll also be saving this spot for the next time I’m driving through the area. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our experience here! Food was delicious and fresh. Great lunch special prices. Service was excellent – our server was great with any adaptations needed and checked in frequently. The resturant itself is quite cute and had a very relaxing environment. Will be back.

Went for the grand opening and it was amazing! Everyone is so nice, the service is top tier, and the food was great! We did the sushi lunch special and a Milford roll, which was all great and filling The salad dressing is good too, since that’s something I always look for in a new place. Looking forward to going again!

We had a fantastic experience at Sushi House on our first visit. The miso soup was rich and flavorful, and the six pork gyoza were a great start to our meal. One review mentions a limited menu but we actually thought the restaurant delivered a well-curated selection with something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the Hawaiian roll—perfect for those who love coconut and a sweeter taste. The tuna and salmon rolls were both well crafted and delicious.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially with our two-year-old! At one point, an employee turned on the outdoor water fountains to entertain her. She loved it!
Overall, Sushi House is a wonderful addition to Milford, and we’re thrilled to have a top-notch sushi spot so close to Devon!

What happened???? New management? Completely changed. New menu, staff but name is the same! Bait and switch? Nothing we used to order is on the menu. It’s a Completely different place. Went there to see what eas going on and Sushi was not good at all. The pictures I posted from my original review show items no longer on the menu. Would not recommend. This new sushi house is not the same as six months ago.

Wow! What a fantastic place to get sushi. I’m so glad this opened up in Milford. We needed a good sushi restaurant. So, my go to for sushi is Daiko Jerry San’s in Branford. It is hands down the best sushi you will ever have. However, this new Shusi House is second best. And closer for me. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and very flavorful. So many sushi places make these rolls that all taste the same. Very generic. Not Sushi House. This is a top notch sushi restaurant! They were very nice at the entrance and the dining area is beautiful. Dark and calming with a patio in the rear of the building. Located right on the Post Road which is perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Had the sake, side noodles, avocado rolls, Amazing Rolls, and Sushi for 2. Delicious food, very quiet atmosphere, incredibly polite and pleasant staff. All the staff we talked to seemed like wonderful people.

Our new fave sushi spot in the downtown area! We sat at the bar and ordered a few special rolls. They were all super delicious and the fish was fresh and tasty! The atmosphere is nice and chill with darker lighting in the dining area and a well lit sushi bar to sit at. We loved the garlic edamame as well. The staff was super friendly and happy to help with any request we had. Awesome experience overall, definitely will be back!
