Railway Cafe LLC

This is a cute little cafe with good food and a nice comfort vibe. We aren’t from here so we were looking for a simple little place to grab some lunch, and this was a great choice.

Three of us ordered their bacon mushroom and Swiss burger and it was really good! I do wish the burger was a tad bigger to fill the bun, but it was really filling and I couldn’t even finish mine anyways, so I’m not sad about it.

We tried the potato babies and they are these little crispy potato wedges that we really enjoyed! They don’t have seasoning on them, which would be my only complaint, but we dipped them in ranch and that was perfect!

My Granny ordered their chef salad and said it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. She really appreciated how the lettuce was cut in to bite size pieces and the variety of tasty toppings.

We absolutely recommend this spot if you’re looking for some tasty, home cooked style food.

We have eaten here twice in the last two months. Both times the food was very good. Nothing fancy. First time, red beans and rice special. Next time, grilled chicken sandwich. Chicken breast hanging over bun. Very messy yet excellent. Chicken not over cooked. And fried fish basket with potato salad, green salad and Texas toast.

I ordered a hamburger, fries and a med coke. They are out of med cups so I ordered a small. When I pick up my food, they gave me a cheeseburger. The tomato was bigger than my patty, almost no meat. The lid to the coke had no hole for the straw. I called the cafe and they were totally rude. Said their ground meat wasn’t the same they usually have and it wouldn’t stick together? What?? The woman I spoke to was rude. She’s says they are out of stock on a lot of things, but she is the one that orders more. So, I guess she just doesn’t order what is needed??

Employees do not answer the phone at all can call for 30 min straight no answer an the store is completely dead. As im sitting here now the phone rings an only one order being placed after mine an they are hollering out i cant get it like its really hard to do their job. Since my girlfriend couldnt call an place the order i had to waste my time an walk in then wait instead of calling ahead. Next time i will just stop at G&J since they know how to answer the phone

Staff were very friendly, felt like you were talking to a neighbor in there, probably bc you are. The dining room has a very old school rustic feel and they play old country music. I ordered lunch to go and it was made fresh and quick. I drove 25 min to home and my wife and I were pleased to see the food was still hot and crispy. It was delicious, they have excellent ranch as well. 10/10 would go again

Horrible experience! I will never go here again! First why offer Tater tots with an item if they’re freezer burnt? Second explain to your customers that the drinks are not included before they pay. I was charged $73.08 and when I asked why so much the girl said because drinks are not included with the meals only with Kid’s meals and Wing Combos. Asked to speak to the manager and some young girl with blonde hair comes out and I told her I was not happy or satisfied with my order purchase and that they should let customers know the drinks are not included with combos before you start ordering and that I wanted my money refunded back to me and it still hasn’t hit my card yet and that was at 6:48:54P.M. I definitely will not be going back here again!
