An old fashioned saloon/restaurant in Bristol, Rhode Island. Complete with live music, an exceptional atmosphere, and a menu selection packed with flavor and an artisan touch. The Judge Roy Bean Saloon is located in an 1800’s wood and brick colonial home; two-stories with two full bars and a rotating 12-draft beer selection. The bar gets its name from the legacy of the eccentric judge and Justice of the Peace (and saloon owner) Phantly Roy Bean, Jr. known for his unconventional rulings and for holding court in his saloon (his favorite customers participating as the jurors).

HEREEE!!! so good it’s insane. girls working are too sweettt!! bartender Hailey makes a killer drink and the server tessa is so sweet it’s stupid!! and if you haven’t tried a pistachio martini i stronglyyyy recommend coming here to try you’re first one!! 11/10 girls ❤️

We stopped in for a drink and snack on wife’s birthday. The bartender from Louisiana was so sweet and we’re sorry for not knowing her name, but she was wonderful. The niso seasoned fries with lemon aioli were excellent and refreshing! A huge thanks to the gentleman who picked up our drinks for my wife’s birthday! And by the way, the Guinness was as fresh as it gets!
Definitely going back here to follow up on our first visit, and to check out some of the music!

Came here after Blythwood Manor. What a treat. The owner and Erin were very hospitable. The food was excellent. They were out of the tots so we ordered Mac and cheese. I loved it that it was penne pasta but my husband would’ve preferred that they were traditional. He had to stop me from eating the whole plate. Good thing I took a hard nap at home. Great place and can’t wait to come back.

Small local bar and pub like menu. Server was friendly and attentive. Place wasn’t too busy yet around 6 pm on a Saturday so we got right in.
Small menu selection, mostly sandwiches and small plates. Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my burger. Wife had a chicken sando and she said it was ok. Fries were really good too. Decent beer selection.
I think the prices are a bit on the high side but probably pretty standard for the location in downtown Bristol.
Would go back another time and try to catch some music. Cool spot.

Favorite bar and restaurant in Bristol. Great food and great people. Smash burger is fantastic but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Nice place to stop by and hang out. They also have music some nights and it’s always been really good when I’ve been here.

Service was excellent, the food is decent but very small Bar menu. No real dinners . Bathroom on floor one only had one stall. Second bathroom is on 3rd floor glad I wasn’t drinking. Overall cool location!
