09/22/22: way overpriced for old food. I was under the impression that things were different.
2021: still the same issues here. Needs new management.
2020: Every single time I go, the servers ignore us. We just put out dirty plates on another table. We have to flag down multiple servers just to get a refill. My last visit, the lady was cleaning so madly (it was so hilarious). But The food is usually good, bringing our rating to a one star.

The food is really good not a huge selection but everything was tasty and no food poisoning. However I can’t believe the board of health has not closed this place down. The bathroom was disgusting and the toilets would not flush. The roof leaks bad and the ceiling tiles are covered in mold. Everything is falling apart, the benches were stapled together. It’s super weird because the food was good but everything around it is is the worst level of unmaintained I have ever seen. The place was empty. Probably because no one goes back after the first experience.

Do not order online. Always call. Ended up waiting over 20 min for my food because the chefs phone was dead? Don’t really understand that part but I ended up only having 5 minutes to eat. Food tasted like the Styrofoam box. I know this is Texas but im going to a Asian resturants to get Asian food. Not white rice with veggies and a little bit of chicken. The chili oil had no flavor and my fortune cookie was stale.

It was hot in here like they didn’t really have the a.c. on. The ceiling looked horrible. They have a “grill” but they didn’t cook it in front of me. When they brought me my plate of food to the table it looked like they heated the noodles and just boiled the meat. Then threw sauce on it the rest of the food was okay. At least most of it was fresh. The service was not very good. Had to flag down the waitress a few times to get refills. They weren’t even busy they had maybe 4 tables to wait on including us. I don’t believe I will be giving this place another chance. I’m sure when this place first opened they were great but now it just looks seriously run down. And like they just aren’t doing so great. I only gave it 2 because they did have a variety of food and most of it was fresh and tasted decent.

We just got there to eat
Took two bites of my food and right on the bottom of the noddles was a roach. You can see that it was cooked. I’m pregnant and so disgusted with this place. Never will I go there again.

There’s a circulating Facebook post depicting a cooked roach inside one of their dishes. Along with that, other women who’ve commented on the post stated similar experiences where they’ve noticed maggots and sometimes mice running around the facility. The standards and cleanliness of this establishment is severely questionable.

I’ve passed by this place a few times while working in Alice.
For a small town, the buffet had an excellent selection. Lots of items to choose from, flavor was good, price was fair, wait service was good.
I tried a bunch of items, favorites were the honey shrimp & the baked seafood, but I tried pepper steak, sesame chicken, bacon wrapped jalapenos, low mein noodles, green beans, pot stickers, wontons, egg drop soup, and several other items.
I had been hesitant to stop in the past because the outsides make it look closed. I asked a local about the Chinese buffet and they even commented. “ohh the place that looks closed?”. Their only advice was to go at lunch and not dinner, as they said the food was consistently better at lunch.
I would definitely visit again for lunch.

Food is decent for buffet food. Service is very hit or miss.
NOTE: There is NO climate control in the building. It is MISERABLY HOT. We last visited in mid-September 2025, and it was at least 80° in the building. I would have walked out of I hadn’t already promised my family Chinese buffet.

For the most part it was good. Some of the food was room temperature and cold. But overall I was satisfied and can’t beat the price for buffet.
