Every time that I order, I call ahead. That way, they tell me how busy that they are and how long that it will be, to pick up.
The staff are always great.
NOW: the food. We have had the smash burgers; EXCELLENT!
Always prepared as requested. Be warned; they are generous with the toppings.
Today, it was the haddock and chips. A good size piece, nicely battered and crispy. A mountain of fresh cut chips.
Compare the prices, anywhere and you will find that Johnny’s is competitive. GREAT FOOD AND GOOD VALUE!
Remember; a meal deal at McDonald’s is going to cost you about $14.00. I, personally, would rather have a home style meal, than an assembly line dinner, made with frozen ingredients!

Great food the kids live the burgers. Way better Harvey’s and same price point give or take. But way better food. If you are looking for a good burger and home fries, this is the place to go. Also highly recommend the deep fryer mushrooms. Give it a try you wont be disappointed. They even have meals of the week to help with some cost.

I only sampled the burger and onion rings…they were delicious
Onion rings could have used some salt ..but where perfectly crispy..so I didn’t mind ..big portion aswell
I got the kids 1/4 lbs my boyfriend got the 1/3 ..both hit the spot
All the toppings were fresh and not over done ..perfect bite everytime
Place is small shack like ..oldschool burger hut ..eat in or take out .
And has outside tables

Great homemade burger and the woman that served us was super nice and accompanied us with one milkshake..two ways ..super nice of her!

No frills but great taste. Their burgers are great but listen, go for the Gyro pitta. It’s absolutely delicious. Guys, it’s DELICIOUS. And don’t forget the fried mushroom caps. All and all I’m so glad we found this little place. Definitely going back.

We came home from Jamaica and my husband really wanted a good burger! Wow did Johnny Burger deliver. We couldn’t put the burgers down! They were so delicious! Full and fresh ingredients! The poutine and onion rings were just as delicious! You know a restaurant is good when every single bite is delicious! Thank you! Keep it up please!!!!!! We can’t wait to order again!!

Cute little place whoever, I was disappointed in the food that I ordered. Ordered burger and fries, both were over cooked. I was hoping to get a juicy burger and fresh fries, today wasn’t the day for it. I called ahead as well to make sure they had enough time to make everything fresh but that didn’t make a difference. I’ll give it another try another day, maybe this time I’ll go earlier in the day, hope that makes a difference.

I’ve tried many many burger places, so my review is based on having tried many other homemade burgers.
I had a 1/2 lb burger with several toppings and I would say the portion was great. I was left quite satisfied for a small lunch. The burger tasted good. It wasn’t the most amazing burger I’ve ever had, and it feels like it should have been a bit cheaper in comparison to some gourmet burgers, but it was definitely good. The toppings were good and tasty, the bun was a tad on the dry side but still good, and the patty itself could have had a bit more taste.
I’d have given 5 stars if the burger tasted better, or if in its current state was slightly cheaper. Overall, I’m not disappointed. It’s a neat little spot and it’s very close to the beach for a post-beach meal or snack.
Though I didn’t get to try anything else today, I’d say it’s certainly worth checking out even if you aren’t getting a burger.
Took about 15 mins and they accepted card.

Found this place completely by accident and could not have been more pleased. The still have that old time diner charm as well as the quality and portion size. I don’t know what they put in their friends but they’re amazing even better than the burgers which is saying a lot cause their burgers are fantastic too!
