I ordered the 3 birria tacos platter with rice, beans, and consomé
Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The birria tacos came with very little cilantro and no limes, which already took away from the flavor balance. The consomé was thin and lacked depth, and didn’t have that rich, savory taste you expect with birria.
The biggest issue was the tortillas. They were extremely hard and tough, especially at the ends ..honestly like biting into a rock. They tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out for a while. It seemed like the tortillas were dipped in the consome and fried to try to soften them, but it didn’t work. Even after dipping them back into the consommé, they barely softened and were very unpleasant to eat.
The rice and beans were okay, nothing special but not bad.
What makes this more frustrating is that my first visit was actually really good the tacos were fresh, the tortillas had a pleasant texture, and everything tasted much better. I’ve now been back two more times hoping for the same quality, but both experiences were poor.
I’m Mexican and I know what good Mexican food should taste and feel like, and unfortunately this just wasn’t it. I believe in giving honest feedback so restaurants can improve, but based on my last two visits, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Tried here for lunch today and ohmygoodness, why have I not been here before?! Amazing flavor, service and portions. I had the 3 taco meal and usually I don’t like beans but these were amazing! The flavor and texture we are on point. The rice was so flavorful and the size of the steak tacos were so huge I couldn’t eat more than one at the sitting! More for later! It was super busy but had my food in less than 10 minutes. The service was awesome, and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back to try other menu items because if they are as delicious as my choices today, I definitely won’t be disappointed!

Had the El Dorado Nachos about a month ago. A little over $20 with a pop. Other than the meat, they are served cold. I have had cold nachos (which is basically just a nacho salad) before but these were soggy at the bottom. My first time having bad “nachos”. Should be labeled as a salad.

Visited El Dorado for the first time this week after hearing amazing reviews and the people were not wrong! The menu is large with plenty of options and the staff were very patient and helped explain the menu. The chicken burrito was ginormous, well worth the money. Loaded nachos were also a hit as well as the beef and chorizo and carne asada tacos. Staff were extremely friendly and hard working, will definitely be returning!

I ordered the 3 Birria tacos and I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in tacos before. As I was eating my first taco, my partner, who ordered the same thing mentioned how their tacos had a lot of fat in it. Usually we can get over it but as I hit my second taco, there was CHUNKS of huge pieces of fat. When I opened the third taco, this is what I found. I assume it’s either a tendent or artery or something. It was very stiff and rubbery, not soft like fat. The 4 holes in it as seen in the picture nearly had me jump out of my seat. We will never order here again
