Eric served us tonight for our first time at there restaurant! My chicken club was delicious my wife said best chicken fingers she had out a restaurant in a long time! Jack Astor’s in Newmarket is hands down one of our favorite places to eat. Every visit feels like a treat from start to finish. On our latest visit, I tried the truffle mushroom burger with goat cheese, and it was absolutely perfect juicy, flavorful, and topped with the most delicious combination of earthy mushrooms and creamy goat cheese. It’s the kind of burger you think about long after the last bite.
This spot has been our go-to for years, and more often I order the Memphis steak. It’s consistently tender, cooked exactly to my liking, and packed with flavor. Pair it with one of their sides and you’ve got the ultimate comfort meal.
The patio here is a gem, especially on nice days spacious, comfortable, and with a great atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer. Inside, the vibe is lively without being overwhelming the only negative thing is very cold during summer, perfect for a casual night out or a fun dinner with friends.
The service is great. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, making sure we have everything we need without ever feeling rushed. Their warm, welcoming attitude is part of why we keep coming back.

Its been a while since I’ve came to Jacks. I was welcomed by a young gentleman with great attitude, evening complimented on my jacket! Rachel was my server. I came and dined alone for a meal. She was quite attentive to me even though I can see her running around the restaurant serving other customers. I ordered the calamari and the Memphis steak for my meal. For my Memphis steak I also upgraded my smash potatoes to the loaded version. As I was having my steak she came to check on me and ask how was everything. I knew my smash potato wasn’t “loaded” but I haven’t said anything and Rachel caught it right away and said “your potatoes aren’t loaded. So sorry im going to get you a new one” What impressed me was how observant she was and realized the mistake. I work in the customer service environment as well and I know how it is and how hard employees work and dont get recognized. I am here to give a review to Rachel N for the amazing service! Jacks, you got a keeper! Good help is hard to find!
