Reviews
Overall, most of the food was good, and the drinks were great. The atmosphere and vibe were chill and pleasant with live music. The weather was also perfect for the evening.
We started with some drinks; the Monkeypod Mai Tai was a big hit, and I enjoyed the Virgin Mai Tai. There were some interesting house cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and a big wine list.
We ordered some appetizers to share, and I enjoyed the Wings, Taro Ravioli, and Kalua Pork Pizza. My main entree was Pete’s Fish & Chips. It was ok. The tempura-style fish had a nice crunch, but the coating was very salty. The hand-cut fries were tasty, though. Some of my family felt the saimin and fish sandwich was delicious as well.
Our server and the staff were excellent, attentive, and kind. They checked on us regularly. The prices are on the premium side, but given the location across from the resorts and the quality and portions, it was fair. I’d be back to enjoy the cocktails and try other items on the menu.
Had the Fresh Island Fish Sandwich $28. Overall, small sized sandwich. Fish filet was around same size as a Filet O Fish, maybe smaller. Saucey slaw on the bun, pickles on top. Tartar sauce on the side. Very saucey tasting sandwich. Server suggested House Cut (greasy) Fries $12. He forgot to say “…else that tiny sandwich will look lonely”
I definitely will be back!
The space is energetic, often featuring live music that gives the restaurant a warm, upbeat feel. It sits within a great shopping district, which adds to the experience, though parking in the area can be a bit challenging during busy times.
The menu leans on well-crafted appetizers and an impressive lineup of beers on tap. Their selection is one of the highlights—Overboard IPA is a standout and well worth trying. The pizzas are reliably good, and the taro ravioli is truly exceptional, one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression.
A strong choice in Ko Olina for anyone looking for good food, great drinks, and an atmosphere that feels both fun and distinctly local.
