The fresh spring rolls were mediocre at best: Totally tasteless. Shrimp was flaccid. The chili sauce was pure sugar. Way too sweet.
Pad de ew with Chicken was very salty and mediocre in terms of any other flavor. Only redeeming quality was shaded picnic tables.

Ordered beef fried rice (nice mixture & seasoning), vegetable fried rice (hearty portion), combo red curry plate (nice heat) and chicken skewers (tender and glazed well). The veggie egg rolls were good, but too greasy. Although, I came for the papaya salad (they were out!), everything else was top notch.
This was a food truck in the Ace Hardware parking lot on Rice St., plenty of parking, and outside seating. The prices are reasonable, but not much different than brick & mortar. Service was good.

The first meal in Hawaii was delicious. Had less expectations before but the customer service and their food elevated my appetite and I was happy. I got a chicken combo plate which had chicken bbq with rice and papaya salad and my friend got tofu pad Thai and papaya salad combo. Both were bomb . The price was a bit high but it’s worthy for the food they provided. We had a small seating area nearby the truck. Overall a good experience

Food was delicious! Although the truck was parked in the ACE Hardware parking lot, it didn’t change my mind at all! The food was flavorful and they had fresh basil growing in the pots around the tables

I was starving after arriving on Kauai, passed by this food truck on my way back to the airport to pick up my friend and decided to do this instead of fast food.

Located in a parking lot, they seem to have a rather permanent presence with the inclusion of a tent offering shade for about three tables. Be prepared to share the space with Kauai’s ubiquitous mascot (see photo of chicken on table … not the bbq skewers, but our new feathered friend).

My friend and I split a shrimp pad thai and two bbq skewers … that and a couple of Doet Cokes totaled about $31, about what you’d spend in Honolulu.

We were starving so it was pretty good. The pad thai was on the sweet side and the shrimp were plump and juicy – wish there was more of it, but I get that everything’s pricey these days. BBQ chicken didn’t seem marinated but was sauced on the grill or immediately afterward. It was a well balanced sauce.

I walked up and ordered a papaya salad with chicken. Sadly, it was tasteless. The salad needs flavor—Thai basil (it grows like crazy on Kauai) should have been included, and maybe some fried garlic or at least some garlic.
It had green papaya, carrot, about three cherry tomatoes cut in half, and a dressing that had too much sugar and not enough lime or spices. The chicken was white and flavorless too. I don’t even know how they made chicken taste so boring.
I’ve gone here before in Kapa‘a and Līhu‘e. I may go back again, but I hope they read this and fix that papaya salad. Beware when you order it—it has ZERO flavor.

The veg fried rice was so good and they give a pretty good portion too we also had pad-see-aw and that was yummy. They have good service and do not
skip the Thai ice tea it was really good too. The food is affordable.

papaya salad is very saucy and sweet. the pad thai had more of a soy sauce flavor, but i liked that. noodles were cooked well and the chicken was moist. i would recommend!

The garden tent is nice. The Food – poor quality and High Price. They cook like they just don’t care anymore.

If you want actually Good Thai food – “Kauai Thai Food Truck” in Kapa’a is my recommendation
