Livingston Bagel is family owned and operated and was established in 1969 by Sol and Rita Snyder. Since then we have expanding our offerings specializing in Homemade Cream Cheeses, Salads, Spreads, Smoked Fish, Deli Meats, Soups (Try our famous Matza Ball Soup) and prepared meals. We also have a full service (and Nut Free) Bakery where we bake from scratch Bagels, Challah, Our Famous Ruggalach, Babka and many other baked goods. We are also well known for our High Quality Catering and Event Planning where we can provide everything to make your life easy and be a Guest at your Event. Livingston Bagel’s Facility does not prepare with any Nut Products.

✨ Raving Review for Livingston Bagel — Incredible Bris Caterer! ✨
We were in a real pinch trying to secure a caterer for a Bris over a weekend and then the Jewish holiday — and thanks to recommendations on LT Lowdown, we found Dan at Livingston Bagel. With just one day’s notice, Dan not only delivered the exact menu I had envisioned, but did so with incredible kindness and professionalism.
He arranged for a phenomenal server who stayed from setup to cleanup, and — to my surprise — Dan himself stopped by during setup to introduce himself and ensure everything looked perfect. And it truly did. The presentation wasn’t just plattered — it was tablescaped with such care and elegance that it elevated the entire event.
And let me tell you — the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it!

Livingston Bagel did a beautiful job catering the kiddish luncheon and Sunday brunch for my son’s bar mitzvah. In addition to traditional bagels and spreads, our guests enjoyed the delicious yogurt parfaits and egg & cheese wraps. The brunch “pizzas” with lox were a big hit too. Livingston Bagel catered our daughter’s bat mitzvah kiddish and we could not have been happier! From the fabulous food (and plenty of it) to the beautiful setup and wonderful staff, I highly recommend them for parties big and small. Every time I come here, there is always an issue whether it be the food, the customer service, them messing up my order etc. not to mention that their food is not super flavorful and their prices are above average cost for below average food. Today, I ordered two chicken salad sandwiches and my cheese was dropped on the ground and still placed inside of my sandwich. The cheese was hairy and dirty. I was extremely disappointed. The person at the counter blankly stared at me several times when I asked questions and did not effectively communicate. The whole experience was strange and every time I try to give this place another try, it goes terribly. I’m tired of this.
