Today was my first visit to Brown Cow Diner, and it will not be my last! The prices are affordable, the portions are HUGE, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is welcoming. I like my bacon burnt and no one ever cooks it enough. They brought it out PERFECT without me having to send it back! The biscuits and soft, fluffy clouds of perfection and the gravy is silky and flavorful. The pancakes are the size of the plate and almost half an inch thick with a delightful vanilla flavor to them. My eggs were fluffy (scrambled) and delicious. The only thing I can’t rave over is the hash browns. I prefer more crunch, but they were well seasoned like everything else. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the food!

They were open for dinner so we gave it a shot. Service was great, but the food was so-so. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, wife got the chicken strips. Everything tasted like it got dumped out of a box into the fryer. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t anything I would go back for again. Best part of the meal was the texas toast.
