Our dining experience was outstanding, thanks to Jared, our attentive waiter. We visited Golden Corral in Thorton to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 77th birthday. The service was impeccable, with our glasses always full. We felt extremely well taken care of!

I’ve heard a lot of people tell me they didn’t personally like Golden Corral, but for me, it’s 5 stars! I really like their variety of food for the value & I come here often! I understand it’s not the highest quality food available, but there are a lot of very fresh options & the price is right.
The salad bar sometimes looks a little iffy & could be more fresh (at least the lettuce & vegetables), but everything else is pretty solid for buffet food.
They especially get points for their weekend breakfast buffet. Absolutely delicious. I wish it stayed breakfast hours a little longer, but I’m very grateful the breakfast buffet exists. Make sure to try the banana bread french toast & get a fresh made omelette!

Better service than other Golden Corral we visited recently. The male staff who looked after our (9) needs was very attentive and polite. A definite
Food basically is the same but, for the price, it is worth it.
I always go for the Pot Roast and I noticed that not much beef/meat is on the the buffet such that, after 2 customers, no meat is left and you have to wait for the replenishment.
Have hardly had desserts as I am normally full after the main courses. My companions gave their on the desserts.
Everyone enjoyed the lunch.

Food was excellent, but service was totally awful. I never even saw my waiter/waitress. Nobody even asked me if I cared for a refill or anything else.

Sausage, blue cheese dressing, fried and baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked and fried fish were all really good. Salad was meh. Dessert’s were very disappointing. Plates, bowls, and silverware were dirty. I used a glass of lemon water to clean them before I used them. Hard to believe nobody checks them before putting them out for use, cause it was totally obviously dirty. Yuk.

Wont be going back for a while. My mom and I are regulars. And the same problems exist still. For one, today. Paid for our meal at 3:47pm. I wanted a salad. Most of the stuff I wanted was gone. I told someone. They didn’t refill until 4:32. So i didn’t get my salad until 40 min of being there. I got the BBQ chicken legs. They were cold. I got a turkey leg, very dry. No deviled eggs during our whole 1hr and 6 min visit. And the banana pudding, yall news to out less whipped cream. Im from the south. We dont put whipped cream in our banana pudding. Cakes are dry. The fish is always good. Baked potatoes too. The people are nice. Just food quality isnt getting any more. I do want to give a shout out. Cuz yall took care of me on November 1 2017 when the Thornton walmart had the shooting. I worked at the walmart at the time. Great people. Just food quality is going down. So i think we will be taking a break for a while.

People using their finger to taste food. Why do they allow this it’s gross. I took my grandkids there but after watching a large women’s belly actually hang in the mac and cheese tray and another person putting ice-cream on their finger, dipping it in sprinkles, lick it off and do it a few times I told my grandkids put the plates down don’t take a bite we are leaving. I had no intention of asking for a refund but one of the employees saw what I did he took me aside asked for my card and gave full refund

I have chosen Golden Corral for dinner several times. Especially the steak is very delicious. It is made to the desired cooking level. It is fast and clean. The salad bar, dessert section and grill varieties are also quite rich. Definitely recommended.
