We are a family-run Texas-style barbecue restaurant on Kimberly Road in Twin Falls, Idaho. We serve authentic slow-smoked meats, cooked fresh every day over real wood right here on-site — you can see (and smell!) our outdoor smokers as you arrive. We take pride in smoking all our meats in-house, the true Texas way — low and slow for that tender, smoky perfection. Because everything’s made fresh, our most popular items can sell out during the day, so come early for your favorites! Alongside our mouthwatering brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and sausages, we also serve hand-spun milkshakes and offer fresh-baked cookies, breads, and desserts from our local partner, The Geekery Bakery, available right in our lobby.

Where to begin…. Came for the surf and turf deal and left a pant size larger. The staff is outstanding and very kind. The food was delightful, I heard about this place through social media and can’t find enough good things to say about this place. If your polite, patient and respectful they might reward you like they did our table. I will be returning!

Headline is *I wont be back*

This establishment is relatively new taking the place of the old shakeout location. I stopped in was presented with a rather easy but expensive menu, sides ranging between $4-6 and there standard meat options starting at $30. I ordered a double brisket, pulled pork, with mac & cheese and a broccoli salad came out to about $35 after taxes and fees…

I watched them weight the meat on a non certified scale that is teetering back and forth on a makeshift prep station…. Which was odd..

I was presented with a small rationed sized portion that is supposed to be for( 2 )people, the brisket was burnt to a hard cap witch was rather dry and overcooked, the pulled pork was also very dry and stuck in a clump probably old or left out.. the Mac & cheese is regular noodles with shredded cheese and parmesan mixed nothing special no flavor or anything special which was sad because that’s the best part of any bbq meal… needless to say I was disappointed with the portion, the taste, quality, and the price.. I had looked over and made eye contact with a few patrons who also were not satisfied or really feeling it either..

** I felt I was being to harsh and maybe judgmental as I was comparing this establishment to some of the bbq I had in Boise, Seattle, and Montana.. so I took the remaining food with me back to work and let my coworkers inspect and try it, they were disappointed and agreed it was pretty rough and poorly thrown together**

I wish them all the best.

The people running this place are super friendly and hardworking. It did take almost 2 hours to get our food but there was a line out the door. Because it took so long they gave us and the other patrons very generous samples of prime rib and shrimp which was appreciated with the long wait. Food is good. A tad on the salty side but nonetheless enjoyable and it’s nice to have a BBQ place in town. I also enjoyed the kolache. Next time I will be sure to pre-order in advance to avoid the long wait.

Such a great addition to Twin Falls! Ran by some amazing people this is the place to get your smoked meat fix! Buns for the sandwiches made by the Geekery Bakery and perfectly smoked meats by Magic Valley Food Dude. You cannot miss it. Open their doors and the intoxicating smell of perfectly smoked meat fills your nose. So excited they have a store front now. Don’t miss out! Texas Twinkies and a Pulled Pork sandwich today. Absolute perfection.

Stopped here, and ate the brisket, pulled pork and 2 sides. I’m somewhat picky on BBQ being from Texas and a former restaurant owner as well as a brisket caterer, but I was impressed with how delicious the meat was! ❤️ Smoked very good and had a nice rub on the brisket. Served it with sliced bread, pickles and onions just like good BBQ should be. Green beans were delicious. Need some more side options, like corn casserole or bacon & onion smoked potatoes (hint) . Enjoyed visiting with the nice employees! Only criticism I could offer would be on the cleanliness of the place. Changing out the gloves the employees wear after handling the meat. It does get greasy, but an ample supply of bar towels in a BBQ joint is a must. A laundry service is worth it. A good degreaser on the equipment and windows every night is key as well. All that being said, I will definitely go back. The BBQ brisket or pulled pork sandwich looked to be a great deal as well. They know how to smoke meat!! ❤️I hope they add smoked sausage links from time to time as well.

My wife and I ate there yesterday (12/28/25). My wife had the breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was not good. For $13 it’s a very small sandwich and no sides like chips or fries came with it so it’s overpriced.
The bun was cold like it was just taken out of the refrigerator and put on the plate. Half the meat in the sandwich were two big chunks of solid fat that was not edible. It was also covered in onions and bbq sauce. I’m used to and prefer the bbq sauce and condiments to be on the side. There were no menus stating what was on the sandwich so I could request no onions or sauce on the side. Staff were friendly but they were unorganized and sloppy and didn’t seem to know what they were serving for lunch. I noticed they have smokers and wood outside but the smokers weren’t running so I don’t know if they really smoke the meat or what.
We know it’s a new business and it has potential to be good. My suggestion to the staff would be to put all the dressings on the side so the customer can decided how much of it they want if any at all and when you put meat on the sandwich look at what you’re putting on the plate so it’s not just two big chunks of inedible fat. We will probably try them one more time again in a while and hopefully it will improve.

I was pretty excited to try this since I love BBQ and we have very little options in Twin. The food was not very good, I was disappointed. The red head lady at the register was very rude, I probably would have given a better rating had she have not been so nasty about everything. At the time they didn’t have menus and all was on Facebook, which we did not know… I don’t use Facebook and didn’t have my phone on me, well she was offended by this and slammed her phone down so we could see the menu. Very rude woman who should absolutely not be customer facing. We won’t be back.
