We ordered take-out, desperate that night….normally I don’t like take-out, I like my food hot. Husband and I ordered the Hangar steak sandwich. All I can say is AWESOME! The bread was toasted perfectly, the meat was unbelievable for a steak sandwich, it was thick but also tender, juicy and done perfectly medium. The aioli and the chimichurri sauces were so flavorful I honestly couldn’t believe it. We’re going back tonight and we’ll see if they can do a repeat performance! Went there a few weeks back with the son for breakfast, I had the pork belly grits and it was delicious. Son had the Breakfast pupusa and it was decent but not wonderful. He also had the Benedict which was also good but not a 10. Overall, excited to have a restaurant like this in Blaine, can’t believe I never tried it before. So nice to see a menu that’s not all hamburgers and chicken wings. If you like 97% of all the restaurants in Blaine, this place probably isn’t for you.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and the food has been excellent, the service has been great, and I really enjoy the quieter atmosphere than most restaurants these days. You can have a conversation without yelling or staining to hear.

Oliver’s was on my bucket list for places to try in Blaine. It did not disappoint!

The atmosphere is nice and laid back and would make for a good spot to get food and drinks with friends. The food was mighty tasty and I would recommend the Burrata appetizer to kick off your meal. The jalapeño margarita was a solid option as well. Just be aware of the prices before you come, not a cheap date.

I’m wanting to come back try their baked goods and drip coffee some morning. Will update this review when I do that

Update: Went back for their coffee and baked goods. Had a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant which were both great. Very happy with the service and learned more about the Oliver business. Their homemade baked goods come from their baker in Stillwater and are very fresh! Give breakfast a try here 🙂

Amazing, absolutely delicious. I had a tart mocktail that was so refreshing and tasty. Also got the squash bisque which was the best squash soup I’ve ever had. Husband said the burger he got was the best he’s ever had. Our friend got pizza and loved it. Our server was super kind and recommended the Countryside Hammer and our friend loved it.

Their food was consistently good from the avocado toast to the mussels and the specialty burger to the burger. The best dish I had was the mussels, the broth was so flavorful and vibrant it was an absolute joy to eat and we needed another order of bread just to soak up the broth. The rest of the dishes always seem to be missing that one flavor that brings the whole dish together, so it was good just not great. The cocktails are quite tasty and they have a great selection of options.

I had the burger and brussel sprouts. Both were very good! Brussels had a lot of flavor. They have different choices for sides. Which I enjoyed but I know the person I went with was thrown off. Service was kind of slow. Food came out fast but the waitresses seemed overwhelmed.. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after sitting with an empty water and plate for 5/10 mins finally went and grabbed our waitress for bill.

I don’t know where to start. I stopped at Oliver’s because it seemed to be less busy than the other restaurants around and I was looking for a quiet place to eat. Walking in, you see an open kitchen and are greeted by a smiling hostess. The menu has great options ranging from burgers to wagyu steak. All of which smell delicious. The atmosphere is really chill and cozy. And the service was excellent. I did appreciate the few tvs they had along the bar, but not having them as a giant distraction. Overall just a great vibe and experience. I look forward to returning again and again!

This place is a neighborhood Gem. Has a great atmosphere. The service was the best I’ve ever had. We had reservations that some arrived early for and were seated. Others came late. We were there for over 2 hours. Our Server Bria was attentive and a delight. The bartender Chris went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. The appetizers were killer. Dinner delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped in for a friend’s birthday dinner with a group of seven. Very attentive, friendly, and informative wait staff. Seemed to take a little longer than usual to get served. However, the quality of the food made up for it! My Oliver’s Special Pizza had an interesting array of toppings. The pickled fresno chilies provided a little heat with a contrast of honey. Olives added some saltiness to tie it all together with an excellent thin crust and delicious salami and ham. Partner’s Snobby Chicken Sandwich had a rich and creamy chevre with crispy, salty pieces of prosciutto. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees. Especially the Norwegian Salmon and Wagyu Sirloin. Both done to perfectly. We ordered two desserts to share. Thought the Lemon Blueberry Trifle with a tart sweetness was a little tastier than the rich, custardy Butterscotch Budino. Very enjoyable meal! Also liked the open kitchen format which I’ve never seen before. Well done and hope to return soon!

This restaurant has been on my list of restaurants to try for a few months now and I finally had the opportunity to check it out for a date night. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. as a more private person I was pretty uncomfortable at the fact that all the tables are right up against one another, so you’re literally sitting a foot away from your neighbor. So whatever you happen to talk about, you get to hear about what your neighbor’s talking about too. I eat gluten free and so ordered the spinach artichoke dip as a gluten-free item. I had to smile a little bit as I received a very nice looking spinach artichoke dip with an udi’s bun cut up into four pieces. We also ordered a pizza not gluten free. It was pretty disappointing as well. We ordered the chorizo pizza as my husband wanted to avoid the mushrooms listed on the other pizza’s descriptions, only to find out that the chorizo pizza also had mushrooms that were not listed in the description. Yuk. Mandatory 4% “tip” for the cooks on top of the tip to your waiter. We will not be back soon.
TL;DR
Very boomer place to eat.
