Probably one of the only restaurants in Lucknow that opens early to serve breakfast. The ambiance and décor were quite pleasing, giving a comfortable café vibe.
The idli was soft and tasty, though it could’ve been warmer. Both the dosa and uthapam were well-made and flavorful.
The only miss was the sambhar, which didn’t quite hit the spot in terms of flavor.
Service was good. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but considering it’s located in Hazratganj, that’s understandable. Overall, a good place for authentic South Indian breakfast in the heart of the city.

Absolutely authentic! The Sambar had the perfect balance of tanginess and spice, and the Masala Dosa was incredibly crisp without being greasy. Don’t skip the Filter Coffee—it’s the real deal. The service was warm and fast. Highly recommended for anyone craving a true taste of the South!

This is one of the fav restaurant in the country. I’ve been to every outlet. I celebrated my birthday here. One of the reason I liked this place is the service and the quality of food. I’d recommend this to every one who wants to try good food with great vibes.

I visited Curry Leaf today with my friends after hearing a lot of praise about the food and ambience, so my expectations were quite high.
We ordered paneer parantha, paneer dosa, and masala idli, along with buttermilk and lemonade. The taste of the food was just okay, nothing exceptional, but acceptable.
However, the experience took a very unpleasant turn when my friend found a hair in the masala idli just as she was about to finish it. This was extremely disappointing and unhygienic. Finding something like this in food completely ruins the dining experience, no matter how the taste is.
Hygiene is a basic expectation at any restaurant, especially one that is so highly recommended. Unfortunately, this incident overshadowed everything else, and we left dissatisfied.

I went for dinner with my family — the dosa, idli, and other dishes were really good. However, I was disappointed to find a foreign particle (something plastic-like) in my starter. I would request Curry Leaf to ensure better food quality and hygiene practices going forward.

A must visit place for those who love south indian food , if you know how real dosa makes them you must visit this place , located at lucknow s prime location at hazratganj chauraha , ambiance is good and staff behaviour is also good , let’s talk about food , I had a garlic dosa and it was really awesome , I like the fillings of potato containing curry leaves , taste was really good as authentic dosa , so I highly recommend this place just park your vehicle beside this restaurant at gove parking and go there .

The chutney served was quite colorful but the taste doesn’t sound great. The price was more or less I think it was for the ambiance. Apart from that I had a good experience and enjoyed the lunch with my family. The filter coffee doesn’t taste the same as I had in Chennai.
