Came here for a birthday dinner treat and was definitely impressed. Anytime when I’m out of town, I have find a seafood restaurant who will have Shrimp and Grits on the menu. So glad I chose it because Honey, this one was on point. First time EVER did I have SNG with Chardonnay sauce and candied ham. IMPECCABLE and delicious. However it started off with the crab artichoke dip. Foremost, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was amazing and pleasant. Can’t wait to come back to spend time in Savannah and dine at The Shrimp Factory!!

After a change of plans, we stumbled upon this gem and were thoroughly impressed. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable; our waiter took the time to introduce us to Pine Bark Stew, a regional specialty we hadn’t tried before.

The stew arrived piping hot in a cast iron pot and was loaded with seafood. Paired with their delicious garlic bread, it was a perfectly balanced meal. Being adventurous really paid off here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Southern dishes beyond the standard menu items.

We had lunch there and we were very happy with our food. My daughter got the poor boy sandwich and I got the seafood bisque with the salad. The food came super fast. The portions were very large and their prices were reasonable. Def would come back to eat here!

We enjoyed everything about this place, the food was good and our server was nice and attentive. I enjoyed the blackened Mahi sandwich ..it wasn’t salty at all which matters to me. The atmosphere was casual but we could hear ourselves talk. Their hush puppies 10/10!!

A great place to visit if you are in the mood for seafood. The fried green tomatoes were an awesome compliment to the seafood I had. I love the environment and decor inside as well. Combine all of that with the character and location of downtown Savannah make this place great. Thank you very much!

We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday for lunch. We had just got off the Hilton Head to Savannah cruise and we’re looking for something close before our tour of the city. They were not crowded and we were seated immediately. Our server came and took drink orders. She was fast and friendly. I had heard the fried green tomatoes were good so I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT. My wife had a bowl of the shrimp and crab bisque. The food was brought to the table in about 20 minutes. My BLT was excellent. The spicy sauce was a good touch and the sandwich was loaded with crispy bacon. The fried green tomatoes gave a new twist to the old classic. The bisque was also quite flavorful. My only negative is that our booth or the surrounding area was wiped down previously by a strong disinfectant. I could smell the odor throughout my meal, which took away from my enjoyment. Other than that, food and service were great. We even stopped back for a drink before our ship departed.

Every time I visit Savannah I make sure to stop by the Shrimp Factory. Their food is always consistent and pretty tasty. Tonight I decided to try one of their appetizers and got the calamari. I love calamari but I do think theirs missed the mark. The calamari was tough and rubbery which leaves me to believe it was overcooked and not fresh. I had to eat whole rings at a time because it was impossible to bite them in half so in the future I would skip wasting money on this. For my entree I got the shrimp platter with a house salad and broccoli. The shrimp here is always perfectly cooked and I love their hush puppies. This is a nice stop for a guaranteed good meal with friendly service if you’re overwhelmed by the options on River Street. My meal was $40 before tip (had a water to drink) and it’s important to note they charge a 3% fee for paying with a credit card.

Everything was great. The service, the food, my entire experience. It did take a while for the entree to come out, but it was a bit of a busy night for sure. Gavin took care of everything. I highly recommend the crab dip and crab soup.
