I ordered the Tabi-Ji Trio and the Assorted Sashimi Dinner, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. This is definitely a spot with good quality food and the place was busy!
If you’re planning to sit at the hibachi grill, make sure to book a reservation since that area fills up fast! I would have wanted to sit in that area but did not have the time to wait.
Overall, this place had tasty food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I would want to come back next time to sit at the hibachi grill area.
Parking: There is a medium sized parking lot. Parking is easy to find.
Ambiance/Environment: We visited during dinner time. There were a few other large families, so it wasn’t too busy. They have table seating for ordering a la carte, but it might take longer to be seated if you want to have a hibachi experience. The decor is nice, and the tables and chairs are also clean. Perfect spot for large families or a date night. They do take walk-ups, but reservations are highly recommended.
Service: Shout out to our chef Jose and server Patricia. Chef Jose was very interactive throughout the experience. He made it very fun. Patricia made sure our waters were filled and checked on us multiple times. Some bussers could work on their etiquette bc one busser rudely reached over my cousin and I without announcing himself to clear our empty plates.
Foods: Each of us ordered something different. Each of us ordered almost one of each protein. My cousin ordered the filet mignon and lobster. My other cousins ordered steak and Lemon Garlic Hibachi Chicken. I ordered the Tab-Ji Trio which included filet mignon, chicken breast, and shrimp. We opted in for fried rice for an additional $. The fried rice was cooked and seasoned well. The lobster tail looked small, but it was filling enough. The chef seasoned it with a generous amount of butter. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and that’s exactly what I got. It was very tender and delicious. The chicken and shrimp tasted as expected. Both were cooked well. My cousins also enjoyed their lemon garlic chicken. Some pieces need more seasoning, and the chef was nice enough to squeeze more lemon.
Pricing: Prices are as expected $$$ for this experience. We enjoyed our hibachi dinner. The food was delicious with great ambiance and exceptional service.
Even the little things like the miso soup and salad with miso dressing were fresh and flavorful. Everything just came together nicely and I was honestly impressed. The whole experience had great energy, the food was top-tier, and it ended up being the perfect spot to celebrate my wife. I would one hundred percent recommend Kabi-Ji if you are looking for a fun hibachi dinner with solid portions, good prices, and a good time all around.

Sarah is a great server. She was very caring with quick service.
My personal favorites here are the châteaubriand paired with their hibachi chicken. The garlic butter they use here is the best tasting I’ve had anywhere and their ginger sauce and mustard sauce are out of this world and will give your meal those delicious umami flavors you find typically expect from in Japanese cuisine. If you’re tired of Benihana and looking for the ideal Teppanyaki restaurant is the restaurant must come to. He will never regret it.
