The waffles are crunchy around the edges but soft in the middle, really good texture. If you sit in the back near the A/C, make sure to bring a light jacket because it can get cold. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. There is usually a wait time before being seated or when your name is called on the list, so be ready for that. Prices are affordable, which makes it worth the wait!

We were on our way back home to Myrtle Beach when we decided to eat here based on Google keep telling us to go here. It’s pure southern!! You get welcomed by southern accents and hustling employees. I know about servers and other staff hustling as that is my job. We had this super cute young waitress Kaden who was extremely attentive to my wife and I. I watched her hustle to her tables like a rock star!! She was really impressive!! We had good southern food prepared just like it should. Wife had cow liver and I had a hamburger steak. She enjoyed hers and I enjoyed mine. Definitely a try if you are passing through or if you live there. If we ever come that way again we will definitely stop!!!

For the last theee weeks I’ve came to eat at this restaurant specifically to get Biscuits and Gravy because it’s the best I’ve ever had so for three weeks now they have either run out of biscuits or no gravy but today I got it and it was amazing. This place is very busy the servers make you feel like your the most important person in the building it a warm and fuzzy feeling they all check on you not just one I just want you to know I appreciate you

I ordered cheese egg scrambled soft with pancakes. This is what I got. This is the first time my egg and cheese wasn’t cooked together. Scrambled egg soft with cheese, not a slice of cheese on the side is not what I ordered. I am very disappointed with this food.

We stopped here for breakfast after a 5k race on a Saturday morning.

Lots of free parking available, but pay attention since it is one-way and the enter/exit aren’t marked.

Service was good – friendly and quick with the coffee refills.
We had breakfast (pancakes for me, eggs for hubby) and it was good.

Would definitely eat here again if we are ever back in the area.

My husband, son and I really enjoyed our meal today. It was our first visit. My husband had the catfish meal, my son had the meatloaf and I had the chef salad. We shared a blooming onion. Everything was delicious.

What a find! Stopped for a late lunch on our way to western NC on the back roads. Great, friendly service, delicious food and excellent prices. Yummy variety of Southern comfort foods. We had the fried chicken and smothered pork chops. Sides we tried were fried squash, mashed taters w/gravy, cottage cheese w/ peaches and corn muffins. This isn’t “fancy” food by any means – but it is cooked well and tastes good! We also had dessert – lemon meringue pie and a 10 layer cake. Our bill was $20 for the meals and desserts added a few bucks more. Well worth what we paid. Wish it was closer to home, but we’ll be back if we’re in the area. If you’re hungry and want to avoid the chain restaurants, this is a super option! #eatlocal

By far the BEST breakfast!!! It’s our new breakfast spot on Saturdays! The service is excellent, the customer service is excellent! I’d 100% recommend this place to anybody met the owner today and he was so laid back and helpful, it makes sense as to why this place is so awesome! Thank you Diana (spell check) for the excellent service! & Tammy on any other day! & thank you Brittany for letting us sit in our favorite booth see yall next weekend

The food is not worth the wait. Reason being toast came out 9 minutes before food came out. The toast had a ton of unmelted butter. Which is not the way you do breakfast. Grits were old and sticky and clumpy but hot. Eggs were some of the best I’ve had. if they were cooked properly. French toast was cold syrup was even colder. I know this place is always busy with regulars. And they are ok with that. But maybe they will pick up the pace and serve hot food soon. I’ll try it one more time to give them a chance to change my review.
