You’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I KNEW I would love this place just from the name and the menu. See, I love all sorts of milk tea (boba, teh tarik, etc) but properly spiced chai is my favorite… and this place has literally a DOZEN options!
I ordered myself the most popular two items (rose chai & samosa grilled cheese), and tagged along a Cadbury chai & a free coffee as well. Grubhub had a discount (or check into Yelp for one also), and I was all set for takeout.
When the food arrived at doorstep, drinks were still warm… took a sip of my rose and it was delicious. Sweet fragrance melted with the coziness of warm and creamy latte. Everything I dreamt of and more.
Then took a bite of my sandwich, not really knowing what to expect with such an interesting combinations of ingredients… it was amazing. Toasted Naan, mint chutney, and soft samosas were all squished within layers of gooey cheese. Totally understand why its a crowd favorite, even my meat-eater husband loved it.
Glad I found discovered this place in time, as I expect needing a lot more of these perfect hot drinks for the rest of the cold season. Definitely recommended for milk tea lovers like me.

Such a cute spot! The service and atmosphere are both fantastic, and they got different drinks. I tried the Iced Rose Chai Latte and it was delicious. I passed by with my dog, and they were so incredibly welcoming toward her. Definitely a new favorite!

This is easily the best coffee shop I’ve EVER been to. The vibes are immaculate, the coffee is delicious and the food was to die for. I came in when it was a little slower and being from out of town I asked if they could pick some drinks for me to try. They made me a hot lavender honey latte which was THE BEST coffee I have had in a while and then the iced rose chai which was also to die for! I ordered the savory avocado toast and hands down it will be how I make avocado toast until I die. The staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly friendly and they made this such a great experience.

This place is a staple for my friend group. They love the coffee options and the tasty food as well. The convenience of this location to their house is impeccable. They took me there one day and I got the lox avocado toast and oh my gosh. We were talking about some serious things but I couldn’t be serious because toast was WAYY too good. It can be a tad bit pricey but for the occasional treat? Absolutely would try it. I loved the atmosphere in there and the fact that they had a place to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air.

This is lovely place to grab coffee and bagels, which is exactly what we were craving. Mind you, it’s not a full fledged bagel place. So it has limited options for bagels. But the bagels were delicious, warm and toasty. Great place for a quick breakfast!

I came here with my daughter because she’s been wanting to try it. She had the lavender honey latte, and she liked it because it was sweet. I drank the iced chai latte, and it was very good. I ate the Bombay sandwich which was very delicious. The mint and date chutney definitely had a little kick to it, but all of the flavors worked well together. My daughter ate the smoked salmon toast, which she really enjoyed. The red pepper flakes definitely added a kick to it, but she liked how that paired with the scallion cream cheese she requested. Seating is tight, and there are several students spread out on their computers. Luckily, a table opened up for us. We would definitely come back here again.

Just discovered this place and happy to say that I was blown away. The food was beyond amazing. Fresh and bursting with flavor. The drinks were also well made and hit the spot.
The chicken Tikka sandwich was loaded with meat and the seasoning was perfect. It was really well made. The perfect savory meal/snack.
The grilled cheese was great too. I was hesitant when I saw that it was loaded with onions and tomatoes, 2 things I don’t usually like (it’s a texture thing). But the slightly spicy taste made up for it, and I downed it very quickly, without further hesitation.
The masala fries maybe could’ve used more masala, and that’s my only complaint about those.
The aloo Chaat was great, with an interesting use of hashbrowns as the aloo. Almost a fusion item that was very well made.
The donuts were also great and my daughter loved trying each one!
Convenient iPad ordering system too!
Overall very happy, and will definitely be coming back for more!

The drip coffee is excellent, better than the pour over—at least to my taste. Comfy environment. if you need a very good cup of coffee, this is one of the better ones

I visited Hidden Grounds Coffee for the first time recently, and unfortunately, my initial experience wasn’t great — the workers were quite rude, and I left feeling disappointed enough to write a review.
However, the owner personally reached out to me, and my friend refunded my order, and sincerely apologized. He assured me he would speak with his team to make sure this doesn’t happen again. His response completely changed my perspective — it’s rare to see that level of care and accountability from a business owner.
Thanks to his professionalism and kindness (and the refund for my coffee), I now have a very positive outlook on Hidden Grounds. I’m looking forward to coming back and giving them another try!
